During the four months, my sister was in memory care, Angela did an excellent job of ensuring that she was in a safe environment. Angela kept abreast of her medications, activities, and interactions with staff. I was impressed that she took the time to send me pictures of some of the trips her group went on. Her dedication and respect for her residents is exceptional!

Courtyard Gardens in the Azalea Memory Care unit has provided exceptional care for my mom. Under the direction of Angela D”Angelo Mona’s is given attentive care. The staff truly care about her and her well being. Angela oversees every aspect of her care and also genuinely cares about her happiness as well as her health. She is with all the residents in a regular basis and knows if behaviors or mental health is off in any way. The staff ensure mom and her room are clean and organized. They also provide the extra touch of making sure her hair is perfect, makeup applied and nails painted. We believe this care is above and beyond. We appreciate the care mom receives and the extent of Angela caring as well.

Angela in memory care is kind , caring, and compassionate. She genuinely wants all the residents to feel safe , at peace and be cared for. She engages with everyone that enters the unit , and is very down to earth and approachable for issues and solutions. Her calm demeanor and warm presence puts people at ease in an uneasy situation, she really puts an effort in making the environment safe and social. She shows love to people when they need it the most .

I have my mother and my aunt at the Courtyard Gardens for almost a year now and it's been only a couple of months my mom needed to be transferred to the Memory Care Azalea wing. I will share, I was very scared and didn't know what to expect. I was introduced to Angela (The Memory Care Director) and I immediately felt at ease and it was because of her I felt my mom would be in such great hands. I have witnessed the care and warmth she gives to each and every one of her residents. As if they were family. Angela goes over and above her responsibilities to do whatever it takes to comfort not only my mom; the other residents and I included. A company can always have good employees but when you have the ones who stand out and shine brighter, they should be recognized. In my experience, I have seen the following employees go out of their way to be so helpful, show compassion, and just be the perfect people you want by the sides of your loved ones especially when they don't have a voice. Starting with Angela, her staff, Martha, Alexandra, Nicole, Carol the night med tech, and Deanna... the perfect person to greet you upon arrival and is beyond helpful and so lovely. My mother in law has been a resident at this facility in the Azalea wing for well over a year now & her care has been top notch. I honestly do not have one complaint. They communicate well with me & that is most important since I can not be there as often as I would like. Angela has always responded quickly when I reach out to her & she also keeps me up to date on my loved one’s needs & condition. The nurses can do what we could not which is properly care for her. They do an amazing job. She is always clean & dressed for the day. They make sure she eats. They have one of the toughest jobs on the planet caring for dementia patients & it’s a big decision when choosing memory care. We are very happy with our choice.
