COURTYARDS AT LAKE GRANBURY

We moved my mom into the memory care unit at the Courtyards (Magnolia Trails) a few weeks ago. This was something I had dreaded since her Alzheimer's diagnosis 8 years ago. If only I had known how wonderful her new home would be and that I would have absolutely NO worries whatsoever when it happened! Bree and the entire staff are amazing people and are excellent at what they do! The communication with us is great - so open, warm, and friendly. We truly consider them family. The facility is also always so clean, warm and inviting too. We are so blessed and thankful.

My husband is in the Memory care facility Magnolia Trails, and the staff is amazing! It was hardest decision I made to have to place him! The first place was a nightmare, and I reached out to Courtyard! I was blessed they had an opening! They got Larry in and settled so fast, and gave me so much peace in my heart because they are fabulous! They love every resident they have! Bree and her team are the best of class! It’s a fabulous feeling knowing when I leave to go home he is in excellent care! THEY ARE ANGELS ON EARTH!

My friend Diane and her therapy dog, Bree, joined me and my therapy dog, Betty White, to entertain the Memory Unit at the Courtyards. I am so very impressed with how Bree Woods and the staff encourage the attendees to engage and be active. They stayed very close the the people to make sure they were safe. This is a fabulous place!!!

It was very clean and smelled good. I went to see a client of mine, amazing lady but when I gave her a shower the water ran all the way in her bedroom floor and completely filled the entire bathroom. This is absolutely unacceptable. I did notify them and they were extremely professional about it and very nice. The people who work there are wonderful but the water in the bathroom needs to be handled please.

We moved my mother into the courtyards in April of 2022 where she lived until Feb 2024. There are some great staff there, however the turnover rate of their staff is high. Others have mentioned the food which is subpar. We also had problems with mom’s clothes being lost and others clothes winding up in her closet. We complained about this throughout the course of her stay. We even tagged her clothes. The “level of care” cost was subjective at best. It would be increased without advance notice. When mom left in Feb 2024, we assumed we were paid up. We were contacted in Nov 2024 saying they were about to turn us over to a collection agency. What?! They auto-draft monthly. I inquired of the 112.91 that we said we owed. It was an increase in the “level of care” in Oct 2023. They never asked for it then and our cell numbers and email never changed Avoid this place!!! Management is terrible
