Sunset Woods has a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere and compassionate Director of Marketing to walk new residrnts through the move-in process. Excellent communuty for seniors to receive care.

The Activity Director, head Chef, and staff treat me like a King here! The Caregivers are all so kind and care for me like I am a part of their family. The residents help each other and there are no cliques. I can't say enough about how wonderful Sunset Woods is! This is the fourth community I have lived at and have found my home at Sunset Woods! I also enjoy their garden club and nature in their backyard.

We have had very mixed experiences with Sunset Woods, formally Robins Landing. Some of the caregivers are kind and experienced, others are mean, careless, or nonexistent (on their phones, ignoring the pages.) My Mom is now on hospice care there but still needs them to give her water or repositioning during the night - no one checks on her! I have a monitor in the room so I know. She went in there 3 months ago walking (with her walker) and eating meals, etc. to this. So we’ve experienced all aspects of the place. Edited to react to Haley’s review: She was fired because she took my Mom’s call button away for the whole night . That was the 1st day of my Mom’s decline. The facility would have been reported to the state if they hadn’t let her go. If you’re not caring and compassionate this is not the job for you. Daniella, on the other hand, thank you for your honest review and the kindness you showed towards my Mom.

My mom, Sandra, has been a resident at this facility for years. I can not say enough, how caring the staff is, the cook makes home cooked meals that smell amazing, and the new management has made some great changes/ updates. My mom can't speak, does not know where she is, but knowing she is getting great care here by staff that treat her like family means so much.

I recently had the opportunity to take my Medication Administration course in this community. I immediately felt welcomed into this community by the amazing staff and was impressed with the leadership and knowledge of their RN. I also love that this community has opportunity for staff members to grow! The residents are happy and well engaged. Looking forward to the opportunity to visit again!
