Crowell memorial is a great place to send your loved ones. They receive great care. The workers are sweet and caring. One care giver in particular named LaLa always shows a tremendous about of compassion and patience. She is a really good person and is very professional. She makes my mom’s day every morning, I really appreciate all her hard work and care she gives to the residence. You can tell she truly cares. She is always ready to help, and is not afraid to go the extra mile. Her compassion and her ability to bring comfort to the people who live here is a gift I wish I had. I would recommend this place to family and friends in the future.

Social worker Robin is caring, helpful and goes above and beyond in helping out resident's and their family. Even with difficult patients, she breaks the "ice" and supports them "where they are". I am so happy with her support services to my family member

This place is an excellent place to live. Easter Sunday was extraordinary. Workers were friendly and always with smiles. We finally had entertainment for this weekend. That's what the place needs on the weekends is entertainment. People there on the weekends are bored stiff. So come on with ENTERTAINMENT PLEASE!!!!

I'm redoing this review as initially I had thought my family member was receiving decent care from the facility. The floor staff I interacted with were great. However, the care plan that was in place was nothing I thought it was. Changes made were never discussed with me, nor the home facility. Floor staff were never able to tell me why certain changes had been made each time I asked why certain services were happening the way they were. After having to place my family member on hospice due to the information being told and slowly found out, I was incredibly disappointed. The amount of time it took to get the hospice referral sent out was ridiculous. Once bringing my family member back to their home facility, there was a completely different observation than the one provided to hospice. Also, none of my family members clothes came with them. And what she did have left there, was mostly not hers. I was told it was because laundry had her clothing, however, several clothing items that now had her name on them is not what I had brought up there. Glad to say my family member, even though on hospice, is doing so much better than we had anticipated.

The care giving staff is wonderful. The administrators are a different story. They used unethical tactics and figured out a way to stick me for thousands of dollars related to my father's care. They lied and presented accusations that were proven to be untrue. DO NOT SIGN "responsible party" on any admissions forms. AVOID CROWELL HOME at all costs.
