Administrator does not keep his promises. Unsafe environment with a bully who scares residents, and the food is only half edible.

Abuse is not taking seriously. Everyone calls themselves a nurse when they are not. Calls bed bugs normal and everyone has them! NOT TRUE! NOT NORMAL! Urine stains all over the carpet. Black mold in the kitchen. People moving out left and right. You can go to supervisors, but it falls on deaf ears. Residents feel they have no other choice. The residents for the most part are kind. Cheryl cares and the food is pretty good. The kitchen staff is the best. That’s where the star comes in. There is some very sweet staff, but hippa definitely doesn’t exist.

A year after my father passed, my mother began looking for an assisted living facility. She is pretty independent, but trying to keep up the house and being alone were getting to be too much for her. We visited four different facilities and she selected Crowne Point. After several weeks of being there, we are ALL pleased with that decision. (BTW, this is NOT a "nursing home". Residents all have their own apartments with their own furnishings.) The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. Mom has her own one bedroom apartment of 520 square feet, which is larger than any of the facilities we visited. It also has a vaulted ceiling (2nd floor) which makes it seem even larger. She has a large 6' bay window in the living room looking out over the grounds and another large window in the bedroom. The living room and bedroom are both spacious and make her feel like she has plenty of space. The sink/vanity are at the end of the bedroom and there is a separate bathroom with the stool and a walk-in shower. There is also a small kitchenette at the end of the living room (as soon as you walk in the door) with a sink, refrigerator/freezer, and a microwave. Since all meals are provided, this is mainly for snacks or for preparing something should they miss a meal in the dining room. They have a lot of activities for the residents. They have meals together in the dining room. They have bingo games and outings (normally shopping). They also will transport them to doctor appointments. Each resident has a lanyard they can wear with a button to summon immediate help if they need it. Mom has made several new friends there and seems very happy with her decision. If she gets to the point where she needs more assistance with things (medicines, bathing, dressing, etc.) then they provide those services as well.

Showed up to this place to do entertainment for residents They were extremely rude and didn’t know anything about the conversation previous talking to them. When I set up bookings for this facility I am a singer professional, and this is unprofessional I highly do not refer this business to anyone if you are doing entertainment for senior living, they are the worst I’ve seen. I’m going to report this business to the Better Business Bureau.
