Crystal Creek Assisted Living 3

I realize that no facility is going to be perfect but what I like about Crystal Creek is the way that staff takes cares of my 87 year father with dementia as if he is family. Teresa Walls an Executive Director at Crystal Creek has advocated the safety and well being for my father as he battles his disease. Also, staff have been nothing but kind and respectful to me when I call and visit.

Update! This place was fine at first, but now we find out the administrator who everyone trusts and has a high regard for has recently left and we’re very upset about this. She’s the reason we could breathe easy knowing she would be sure my sister was taken care of! We were so lucky to have her looking after the residents living at this facility. She took care of so much without any support from the owner who lives in Chicago, he should be ashamed of himself! The sad part is he thought he’d buy this facility and make a ton of money without taking care of the residents and the employees. The poor staff have been promised money and he hasn’t made good on the promises. The staff can’t even cash the checks they’re given on paydays, that is unacceptable! To top it off we find out the owner doesn’t pay his bills for the facility either. He’s trying to sell the facility to a new owner, what a joke that is. He should try repairing the leaks in the hallways ceiling and the doors that let the water flood in from the courtyards every time it rains. We will be moving my sister out of this place as soon as possible! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!

PART ONE; I only wish words could say what Crystal Creek really is and what it has done for me. On my first and initial visit, what I noticed upon walking in was the tastefully decorated large common space, sculpted character line vaulted ceilings, well lit natural lighting filling the room through the tall windows both sides the rooms cozy focal point, floor to ceiling fireplace. As the music softly plays over head a woman with a kind and beautiful smile showed me around. The curious residents twinkle a smile my way as I smell the chefs well prepared meals being served. The staff is happily engaging with the residents helping and redirecting where needed but not like you would emagin staff, rather more like a comfortable long time caring friend would, with humor and jokes to and fro. Everyone seems happy and there is a Good energy going on .... to be continued.... 5 months later I am happy to report Crystal Creek has become our family! I know we would be hard pressed to find another center as Awesome as supportive as this and I am greatful to God for us being here. And don't get me started on the Food, 5 Star !!!!! Chef A K makes vegetables taste like you've never tasted vegetables! Crystal Creek truely is a hidden treasure!

My wife & I were caring for her mother in our home until she needed more care than we could give. We checked around and reviewed 3 facilities in our area. Crystal Creek turned out to be the place we chose and after 3 years, we are happy with the choice we made. My mother-in-law is happy and very well cared for. We know the staff and they are not only professional they are truly caring people. I was able to speak with the owner before we moved mom in there and it's evident that the caring environment is systemic from the top down. I could write volumes but instead, I would encourage anyone looking for a place that will assist you with the care for a loved one, Crystal Creek makes a great partner.

We can not say enough wonderful things about this facility. From the new owner Michael to ALL of the staff, Crystal Creek is AMAZING! Our mother is a current resident (over 1 year at the facility) with dementia & they treat her as family. The facility has a homey, comfortable feel that is very relaxing & welcoming to residents as well as family & visitors. They have daily activities, weekly worship services, hair salon, daily laundry & cleaning services, monthly birthday celebrations, popcorn & movies & the list goes on. The staff are constantly trying to improve in all areas & it shows. We know most all of the residents in my mothers building & they always appear clean & happy. Their visiting family & friends also have wonderful things to say about their loved ones experiences here. But the best thing here at Crystal Creek is the genuine care given by ALL the staff. They are like extended family members. I know when I am not visiting with my mom that she is in excellent hands and I have no worries. I highly recommend Crystal Creek to anyone who is looking for excellent care. 5 stars all the way!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
