Crystal Terrace Memory Care

Including the time we toured plus the two years our family members have been residents at this facility it has gone through four Executive Directors. If you include interim, it would be six. They have gone through three or more Assisted Living Directors also in that time frame. This does not include interim. Physical Therapists have come and gone and the facility is frequently with out. There is a shortage of Resident Assistants as well as a staff shortage. We often see a group of Resident Assistants sitting in the their office. It would appear that they are not working. During the past few months there has been a violation which included the death of a resident. The residents that are placed on a higher level of care are charged thousands of dollars while not receiving the care they are paying for. Phone calls to employees including the Executive director are never returned. If you ask to talk in person you are typically told that they are in another location. It has been months when visiting that we actually see either directors offices occupied. When reading through the reviews they are not as bad as I would expect. I can only assume people are hesitant to complain while having a loved one there.

This is for the memory care center. Some of the staff here are very well knowledgeable and helpful. There is a nurse/ medical tech who talks down to the clients and other workers. She has long black hair but no one would tell us a name. I give the people who walk around the facility and the lady who runs the front desk 5 stars! ! But this nurse with the long black hair was very rude. My family was not impressed by her

I took a tour of the Crystal Terrace community and it is outstanding. Friendly staff, incredible food, and lots of activities to keep community members engaged. It is obvious this staff cares and sincerely invested in the wellbeing of the residents. The Director of Sales, Chance, was attentive and helpful. Great experience and when I meet the criteria to move in, definitely will be my first choice for care. Thank you!

Our experience with Crystal Terrace has been wonderful. There’s a consistency with staff and they seem to genuinely care about the residence. We’re particularly impressed with the dining room staff, Anthony, Becca Gemini, Andrew, Marsha, Misha and Teriq. They always know what my Aunt would like and are super patient with my 100 year old Aunt.

I live in one of the Cottages at Crystal Terrace, and I am extremely happy about this community that I live in. The Cottage is independent and it has all the things that I need, and enjoy. I can look out of my kitchen and bedroom windows and see the largest lake in Oregon. I also go up to the main building and enjoy our dinning room with all the fantastic meals that are being prepared. Our chefs are fantastic, and if you have food allergies they accommodate this as well. The main building not only has independent living, but also assisting living apartments, and they are fantastic. I also am happy with our gym, movie theater, and the many other activities that is available for we residents. The administration is hands-on, and are always available for you to enter their offices and talk. We have a tremendous maintenance department, and they make sure that everything is operating as it should be. There are so many other things that make Crystal Terrace the community to be in: so, if you are looking for a Senior Community, then look no further - come to Crystal Terrace. Larry Payne
