My assessment of five nights and six days at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus: 1. Housekeeping: 5/5 with no issues. 2. Nursing staff and caregivers: 5/5: all were exceptional 3. Food Service and Cafeteria 5/5: Exceptional service and high-quality food with several tasty and healthy selections and meal choices every day during my 5 night – 6 days stay. 4. Community Services and Assessment and Admissions Representees’ Shari and Brittni were tuned into my abilities and individual needs and exceeded my expectations in providing for them. 5. Pricing and Billing: Prices were reasonable and fair and there were no billing issues. What I liked most about all of my caregivers and Cumberland Pointe health campus staff: 1. Highly competent 2. Caring, compassionate and kind hearted 3. Showed sincere interest in the client i.e. me and other clients that I saw them interacting with. Pete

If I was asking to provide a one word summary of our experience with Cumberland Pointe I would say it's the CULTURE of the entire staff. Mom has been here 9 months and was in assisted living, upon an issue we moved her to stilled nursing. During this entire period I've been here daily to see mom as a son and not the full time caregiver. The care received has exceeded my abilities and I've been able to spend the final time with mom as a devoted son. Myself and family are always greeted warmly and any changes to her are clearly communicated both ways. She is well cared for and is safe for her. The culture of the staff shows, concerned for the patient, respect for all, safety for all and the well-being of all. Great place and great care.

My mother is 92 and has been at Cumberland Pointe for two years now. Before she came here she sat in her chair at home and stared out the window most days waiting for someone to come visit. I can’t drive so I couldn’t go see her when I wanted. She didn’t eat right. She stopped taking her medicine. Her health was failing. After she became a resident at Cumberland, she started having three meals a day. The nurses make sure she takes her meds regularly. She exercises every morning and enjoys activities like bingo and music. She has access to a beauty shop so she can have her hair cut and styles which makes her feel so good. Most importantly she has friends that she loves to visit with every day. Cumberland Pointe has been a lifesaver for my mother. I’m so glad we made the choice to move her here. The picture is of her great grandson enjoying the Easter egg hunt!

My sister has been at Cumberland since early November 2024. She entered into a full time care room under hospice care. Each month I have seen her improve in effort, attitude, mobility, socialization, and acceptance. She truly loves many of the staff and she gets excited to introduce me to cleaners, cafeteria workers (meal time is like going to a good restaurant to her -- a very big deal!), and other caretakers throughout the facility. They give her life! She is now navigating assisted living quite miraculously, though she is still in hospice care. Administrators, secretarial staff, maintenance workers, social activities directors, caregivers, cleaners, etc. have been friendly, professional, and client-centered, and very helpful to both my sister and I every step of the way. I truly love the vibe of the place and feel like it is an absolute best case scenario for her end of life experience.

I can't say enough wonderful words about this place. When I toured Cumberland Pointe looking for an assisted living facility/ rehab for my Mom, they made a promise to make my Mom always feel like this was her home and to take the best care of her. Everyone there went above and beyond to keep that promise. My Momma called Cumberland Pointe home, she made friends and enjoyed the activities they offered. My sweet Momma passed away recently and I can honestly say she was happy in her last days. I believe God brought us to Cumberland Pointe so she could feel all that love before she passed away. Thank you to all the great and compassionate people who work there. Much love to you all.
