The owner and manager of this assisted living facility are exceptional. We have had experience with many assisted living facilities over the years and found this one to offer the most individual care in all areas for their veterans. They are caring, compassionate, and motivated to make the veterans experience as much of a normal homelife as possible. The manager, Ezo, is hands on not just managing but getting to know the veterans and bonding with them. This facility takes care of every possible need for their veterans. There is none like them.

I can not thank D&G Assisted Living enough for all they have done for my father, Dexter Thompson. They took such good care of my dad and treated him like their own father for over 6 years. It was such a relief to know he was in good hands and treated with great care and attention. Thank you James, Ezo, Divine, and the rest of the staff for loving my dad until the very end. I am forever grateful and highly recommend this facility!

My family is pleased with the care that my brother receives at D&G homes. He has been there a year, and his dementia symptoms have stabilized, mostly due to the great people, and the great care he receives there. I feel that D&G homes provides a good quality of life for my brother and peace of mind for our family as well.

I can not begin to express the stress of having a loved one with dementia. My father was a fiercely independent, extremely private and stubborn man. When he suffered a fall and a nursing home rehab, it became obvious that his dementia was now front and center. He could no longer live alone. We visited several assisted living facilities and chose D&G. Dad was not going to do well with a large facility. He did not have a neverending supply of money. We chose D&G because it was a small, affordable facility. The resident population was all male, mostly veterans. We chose it because it has various levels of care as his dementia progresses. We didn't want to move him again once he got settled. As the first days and weeks went by, we were still questioning our choice, which I think we would have done regardless of where he went. Hes been at D&G for three months now. He looks better than he has in years. Now he has someone to talk to everyday. Someone is watching over him. Someone is keeping him safe. Often, I will receive pictures of my father holding court with his new found friends in his room. I can not begin to tell you how wonderful it is to get those pics of my dad, happy, safe. I often get videos of my dad doing karaoke, dancing with the nurses, having a picnic, laughing ....he used to be at home walking in circles. I applaud James and Ezo, for providing this safe place for my dad to ride out his last years with dignity. Massive shout out to Steve and Mike for their care. They go with the flow, no matter how crazy the dementia moment is, with respect. I thank you all.

My brother, Rick has been living at D & G Assisted Living for almost six years. Mr. Jackson, Ezo do a fantastic job of supporting my brother in all aspects of his life. They provide excellent physical and emotional support to him. Moving to assisted living is never an easy thing for any family member. I feel that my brother settled in well and is well adjusted to his living condition because he was treated with respect and kindness. The services provided in this home require special people who truly care for the individuals that live there. D & G provides that for my brother. When I visit, I am always made to feel welcome. One example of the extraordinary care would be that our Mother is sick with cancer. Mr. Jackson brought my brother down to Harford County to pay a visit to his parents. It meant so much to our family to have him visit with his parents. I give D & G an excellent review for the job they do in caregiving.
