A medical crisis required us to find an assisted living facility for my in-laws in a very short timeframe. This search was made more challenging by the fact we live on the East Coast. From the very beginning, Malina Walter was a rockstar! She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and flexible throughout the process. Malina's responsiveness and genuine concern is what sold me on Clearwater at Glendora, in addition to it being a beautiful facility!

My mom's assisted living facility burned during the Eaton Fire. It was a harrowing night of trying to get her to safety before the flames consumed her facility, but we were able to bring her to my home, safe and sound. But she lost everything. My mother has dementia, so the swift and jarring removal from her burning facility was difficult for her. She still doesn't really understand the magnitude of everything she lost. We made her comfortable at my home, but we knew she couldn't stay. We don't have the expertise to care for her. Her doctor of 20 - plus years, who also lost her home in the Eaton Fire, mentioned that she had moved to Clearwater and praised the facility. We decided to take a look. We did our research. We compared facilities, and in the end, Clearwater had two things that were best for us - the proximity to my home (it's very close) and the fact that she already knew someone there. Malina Walter was our first contact and she was incredibly accommodating. Knowing the past trauma from the fire for our mom, she was extremely flexible in letting us come and visit, quickly. She answered our questions. She was transparent with costs. Once we made the decision to move Mom into the facility, Malina and her staff helped move paperwork quickly and efficiently. They stayed in contact every step of the way. They made a difficult time for us much easier. Mom has been at the facility for a week now. She is in Memory Care. So far, so good. It's really a lovely place. Everything is clean and new. The staff, so far, seems attentive and caring. I will reserve the right to edit this review at a later time if necessary, but as I said, so far, so good. Mom seems content and that's what's important. Thank you to the staff at Clearwater for making a tough time much easier for us.

I have looked at other assisted living facilities to have my mom live and Clearwater at Glendora has risen to the top. There are many reasons why, but one of the biggest factors for my wife and I was Malina Walter. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Had answers to our questions and continuously assisted us throughout the entire thing. We very much appreciate everything Malina has done and continues to do for us. We are looking forward to being around the happy and helpful staff there.

I am incredibly impressed with Clearwater at Glendora. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of the residents. When my family and I were first considering an assisted living facility for our mother, we had the fortunate opportunity to meet and work with Krista Salazar, Sales Director, at Clearwater. This was the first time our mother had considered an assisted living facility, and we were quite anxious and fearful. Krista was excellent in helping us understand what Clearwater has to offer, including their commitment to an “Empowered Living Lifestyle Philosophy,” and thus overcoming our fears. The facility itself is well-maintained and offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the various amenities to the personalized care plans, it is evident that the residents' comfort and happiness are top priorities. I would highly recommend Clearwater at Glendora, along with Krista Salazar, to anyone seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones.
