my experience with dallas retirement village has been nothing less than superior. In a difficult time, their professionalism, kindness and sensitivity resulted in my mother, receiving the best care ever.

This is the nicest retirement community I have ever visited! I would like to live there (in the future). It's big and very nicely decorated throughout all the hallways. There is NO "old" smell. The 2-bedroom apartment my friends live in is a generous size with a really nice kitchen and big windows in every room. It was quiet inside but somewhat noisy on the balcony - street noise. Very nice!!

We really appreciate the time Tawnya spent getting to know us and sharing so much information about the Dallas Retirement Village. We were impressed! It truly is a beautiful place to live with so many amenities to enjoy. We could feel Tawnya's passion for the mission of the facility as well as the underlying community aspect of being a part of the Dallas Retirement Village "family". There truly is a lot to offer!

My Mother is currently in Memory Care at Dallas Retirement Village. Myself and my family are so blessed to have Mom in an atmosphere where every staff member truly loves what they do and treat not just my Mom but all individuals with love, care and concern when needed. I was speaking with a staff member last week and I kind of apologized for my Mom being a little grumpy. I said that is not normally like her. She said no she isn't mad at us but the situation where her legs don't work like she would want them to, she can't speak clearly but wants to tell us something so badly. She is just angry at her situation, we understand that and love her so much. In my observation of Memory Care at DRV, a person living there can be calm, willing to play a game, sit down when told it is time for dinner. On the next day a person living there may change what they need every 5 minutes. I have witnessed it and have seen them go into action to help that person settle down in a pretty short period of time. Their skills are amazing and done in a loving manner. Cameron who is in charge is caring, mindful, thoughtful and truly has a terrific way of dealing with the daily things that can change every moment and the staff he works with. I have no problem giving DRV, Memory care a 5 star rating.

After living in the same home for 50 years my wife, Robbie, and I started thinking about retirement living. We started looking around at various places and I, like many others I have talked to here at Dallas Retirement Village, was quite skeptical of "Retirement" living. However, after visiting DRV I and We were pleased with the overall facility and the "energy" of those we met here. The activities are almost unlimited and varied. A resident can be as active within or without the facility and ALL of the staff members are friendly and helpful to every resident in all of the various living arrangements. From our perspective DRV has what the other residences lacked----- Freedom of activity, wonderful and interesting residents, wonderful and helpful Staff and a great campus. We even have a garden area where raised beds are available for the gardeners, like my wife in the picture. We are given only 5 stars to check-- we would check 10.
