Terrible nurses and med techs. More specifically med techs. I understand that it’s difficult to perform your job as a nurse, however that is no excuse to be negligent. There are so many things I can mention, such as the quality of life. Many forget that we need more than just a schedule and company to fulfill our quality of life. The med techs are beyond unprofessional. If you care for your family member/relative I suggest you go elsewhere or you’re better off being a caregiver to them. God knows hardly anyone cares for the elderly, especially people that lack the qualities of empathy such as these nurses. Nurses are no longer genuine, had they ever been. I have experienced multiple hospitals in Duplin county and in wake county. No nurse has fully had my trust nor has performed well, with some exceptions. This healthcare system is broken. I am ashamed to call this facility, a facility. I am also ashamed of everyone involved. Do better, or do nothing at all. It’s best left to anyone but these so called “professionals”.

Excellent staff, especially the girls in the office. Nurses are always working their butts off and very attentive. I couldn’t be happier. My nana loves being there. She looks forward to the activities they do every day and being with her friends. She is being well taken care of.

Staff is wonderful! Building is clean and free of oders. The residents who live their looked clean and well taken care of. Unlike other facilities I have been to. The director of the building is very dedicated to her job. She is their early in the morning on days I visit my grandma and even late in the evenings. That says a lot about a facility.

I dont leave bad reviews EVER. But this time it's needed I don't know who he think he is speaking to anyone like that but a young lady at that is grade A disrespectful and down right unjustifiable. We see people not color in my house..My wife and I was visiting and the young lady that let us in was cleaning and she has just the sweetest personality I've seen in a long time dealing with this place. As we where approaching the room we see him walking in our direction as she was heading down the hall with her cart he asked her about something before she could get out her response he walked away she proceeded with her cleaning he comes back a few moments later started again at that moment she walked off with tears in her eyes as she should had I would of walked out we are In tough times and workers should not have to deal with supervisor's of that nature braking them down like that you NEVER KNOW who's listening. She was not in the wrong I would say her name but I don't want her in No type of trouble. All that matters is from the time we was there she cleaned and engaged with every resident that walked her way.

Terrible experience with the Memory Care Unit. Mom was there 6 months. Sent to ER every month. Last visit to Pender Memorial she was diagnosed with medication toxicity. We were told she was not leaving until we found a safe place for her. We also noticed more residents that come in pretty mobile and alert. Before Mom was moved they as well walked around like zombies. Unit has sorry training and doctor was horrible. No stars at all.
