Deering Street Community Living & Respite

I’m not sure where to begin, our mother has been there multiple years and it has been a perfect fit for our family. Irina, Paul and staff have been outstanding in their care for her. From homemade meals, to the supervision and care they have given her. It has been exceptional. I am a nurse in the medical field and would not hesitate to recommend them to any family looking for a loving family environment. With the constant supervision and complicated diagnosis out there for our elderly, this home is an excellent alternative to nursing homes. Their two homes are situated in a subdivision and are beautifully decorated to just give the feel of being in their own home. We were blessed to come across this beautiful place!

One of the worst senior home. From the lack of communication, to the lack of hygiene care. The husband Paul was very rude. Each time I would visit we would end in a shouting match. Each time I asked about the medicine for my loved one he had no answer. Each time I asked if he was walking with my loved one he told me no. This place completely enable my loved one. But he would hound us down about a payment but couldn’t give my family a call when my loved one was t eating for several days I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please look elsewhere for a place to take your loved one.

My experience with Deering Street was truly great. If you want a environment with God in the home, this is where you want your loved one. Everyone. Irina and Paul. Kathy and Maggie. Also, the Heart to Heart Hospice group were truly caring and giving. Everyone cared about my Mom like she was their own family. They became better than my own family to my wife and I. The home is clean. Mom loved the meals, which is incredible because mom did not really eat till she got there. Everyone is/was always generous and kind. Communicated with us when we called. We stopped by whenever. There was never a problem in going over. If you are looking have a place for your loved one, I am recommending Deering Street.

Deering community is a wonderful, caring place. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better caregivers of my mother (has dementia). Irina, Paul, Kathy, and Maggie are truly angels. They cared for my mom like she was their mom. They became like family to us. Always generous and kind. Always communicated with us. They would even offer to give us fresh vegetables from their garden! If you are looking for a place for your parent, I would highly recommend them.
