DELAWARE PLAZA RETIREMENT INN

My sister-in-law has lived at the Delaware Plaza for 3 years this next month. After moving to Longview from Yuma, AZ, it was necessary to find a new home for her. My wife took a tour of the Delaware Plaza in June of 2021 and found the Manager and Staff very helpful and friendly. With three years experience with the Delaware Plaza we have not been disappointed. They have cared for my wife's sister meeting her needs and keeping us up to date on any needs that may arise. There are many activities available for the residents to take part in. The residents regularly have the opportunity to go on bus tours of the area and on special occasions they have activities, sometimes including entertainment, that include the family. We have eaten several meals during these events and find the food is very good. After 3 years we still find the staff very friendly and the nursing staff is not only friendly but very helpful. Delaware Plaza is beginning to feel like home to me. Staff encourage us to share our concerns and make suggestions about everything around us. As new staff receive training, it's fun to watch them start to enjoy being here as much as I do.

No concern goes unheard. The team goes out of their way to make sure we are as comfortable and cared for as family. From kitchen to housekeeping to nursing and front desk, we truly have a wonderful safe environment.
