Update. The home has changed ownership since my mother passed away. Great Place - Great People Our mother has been in multiple assisted livings over the last 5 years. We believe that we have found the best. The ratio of Caregivers to residents is very good, and much better than any facility can provide. I highly recommend Amber's Assisted Living home. We did not think we would find a place where mother would feel at home, but thanks to this facility, she feels right at home. Best Caregivers!

I have absolutely nothing but positive words for Desert Haven Assisted Living. The level of care and respect Joe and Amber gave my Grandmother during her final months of life was nothing but amazing and I could never thank them enough. At Desert Haven Assisted Living patients are treated like they are family and are very well cared for. Joe and Amber were always keeping in contact with my mother and I with updates and also checking in on us to make sure we were doing OK. My Grandmother was on Hospice care when she entered the home and Joe and Amber were not happy with the care my Grandmother was getting from the initial Hospice staff and they made sure to voice their concerns and act as an advocate for my Grandmother. My Grandmother was suffering from dementia and a stroke so she was unable to let us know much so it was a huge weight lifted off my shoulder knowing that she was being so well taken care of. Even after she passed away Joe and Amber have still been in contact with my mother and I checking in on us Your loved one will be in excellent hands while at Desert Haven Assisted Living and I highly recommend them.

I am a placement agent and have had many of my clients reside in this care home. Let me say that this is an excellent choice for your loved one, Amber one of the owners, is the most loving and caring person. She goes out of her way to make sure her residents have everything they need to feel safe and comfortable and loved. My families all rave about her and how wonderful she is! The house is always spotless and smells nice and the residents are always happy: She and Joe make a great team, the care here is second to none! A truly great care home!

Can't say enough good things about Desert Haven and it's staff. Specifically the owners Joe and Amber. They are taking such great care of my father who due to prostate cancer spreading to his spine was paralyzed from the waist down last Sept. We have been with Desert Haven since April 2020 and it has been wonderful. My dad's care is top notch and they make him feel like family. In fact, all the individuals at the home have become our extended family. They have developed an environment which is very caring and attentive to individual needs of the people that are there. Their compassion and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the person is treated well is fantastic. Since our elderly Mom moved here, we have slept soundly knowing she is in capable and caring hands 24/7. Our family is extremely grateful to the certified and trained staff at this family-run home for the elderly that treats its residents like beloved family of their own with an exceptionally kind, considerate and loving manner. Hospice Professionals recommended this home and are super-pleased with the record-keeping and compliance of the staff to the hospice recommendations down to every detail. The staff has provided full-service care, including grooming (haircuts and manicures). Mom loves their homemade food. Mom is non-ambulatory and requires the skilled use of a Hoyer Lift, not offered in many places. She, her bedding and clothing are kept extremely clean. Most importantly, her emotional needs are provide for, through loving and thoughtful personal attention. Mom remains very pleasant, calm (advancing dementia) and treated with respect. Her condition actually improved under the care of these interested and devoted professionals. We sincerely believe you cannot find a better place for your loved one. Testimonials we directly received in-person from family members of other residents convinced us this was the place for Mom. For the past five months, this place has proved to be golden, allowing us to be able to recommend it with full confidence. Our mother is their newest resident and a happy one. We witness the same with the other residents and their families, who have formed a warm community of caring.
