My mother came to live with me when her dementia demanded 24 hr care. We eventually could not care for her and she was admitted to a local memory care. It became obvious they could not provide the care she needed. At that point I found Desert Springs. I knew immediately this was the perfect care for Mom! Daniela and Mark are superior caregivers. Desert Springs Escondido Mesa, Arizona is a Wonderful place to live at the end of your life. Words cannot express enough about how Daniela and Mark took such great care of my mother Susan Dohm. I watch them take care of all their patients with such Companion & Love for each one of them. The patients are family to them. They are very knowledgeable and work hard. Daniela cooks the most amazing food for the patients and it smells Amazing in the home all the time. My mother was bathed and washed from bed everyday. Her teeth got brushed. Daniela even put the amazing lotions and skin care on her face. Her hair was even brushed and combed. She always had a clean set sheets and clean clothes on her. The house was sparkling clean all the time. My mother especially loved their dog that they would allow to occasionally to visit the patient. It was wonderful Because she loved animals and missed her dogs. My mother was in a large nursing home prior to being sent to Daniela and Mark. The large Nursing Home just set food in front of My mother expecting her to eat. My mother did not have use of her hands. They never took the time to hand feed her or tend to her needs. We would visit and never see the caregivers come in to even change her. I found myself calling the front desk to get someone to come in to tend to her. We have been so blessed to have found Desert Springs. But mostly, we are blessed to have the caregivers of Mark and Daniela care for my mother. She passed away August 27 with Daniela right by her side And Mark nearby tending to the other Patients. They have been so loving and kind. They even invited us back to have a Family Reunion on their patio. I recommend them to anyone who is in need of good care for their family member.

About two years ago, my mom needed more care than what her current assisted living place could provide. We were so fortunate to find Desert Springs Escondido. Mark and Daniela took Mom in as family and cared for her like she was their own. There are not enough words to describe how indebted I am to all they have done for her while she was in their care. My mom was bed-bound and never had one bed sore! Even more incredible was that at the end of her life, while she had many needs, the price never exceeded that of her assisted-living home. Her needs were met constantly, and while she could not walk, Mark and Daniela made sure she was not isolated. They encouraged her to socialize with other residents and do activities to keep her mind sharp. Mark and Daniela even allowed my family to hold Birthday parties and a family reunion in their beautiful outdoor facility. They went above and beyond continually to do all they could for my mom’s well-being. God bless you, Mark and Daniela, for truly caring about my mother and making her last days on this Earth feel like she was at home.
