My is currently in this facility and is insistent on staying. Last 3 times I’ve picked her up for urine tests, she’s had feces in her diaper. I’ve asked them to start checking it every two hours, they can’t without a doctors order. Asked them to push water, can’t without a doctors order, asked them to implement the diet for her bladder, won’t do it without a doctors order. They have an employee, Stephanie, activities director that does the shopping for the residents, I ran into her last week and she told me she was buying 2 packs of cigarettes for another resident with my moms money. I had to call and get that stopped. My mother has dementia, they insisted on keeping her on the assisted living side. The facility is very clean. It’s the residents who are sitting in pee and poop. Marijuana is also being passed around from the workers to the residents. They state the residents can’t leave the building without family so where are they getting their weed??? The employees. Myself and my mother already had a strained relationship before this move and they knew that. Now we no longer have a relationship at all. Thanks desire for healing. 4500 a month for a room and 3 meals. They won’t even call the doctor for orders, they expect the family to do it all. I wanted to bring her back home but she’s decided she’s staying there. Do not place your family here.
