We are forever grateful that we found Desired Living. After rescuing our mother from another assisted living facility where the care was deeply lacking and neglectful, to the point of endangering her, we were anxious and hopeful all at once. Moving her to Desired Living was the best decision we could have ever made. This is not a “facility”, it is truly a home. From the moment she arrived, it felt like her home. The smaller, close-knit community meant she received real one-on-one attention, and the staff genuinely cared about her as a person, not just a resident. That difference is everything. Sal and her entire team are compassionate, attentive, and deeply committed to their residents. Our mother was treated with kindness, dignity, and love every single day. As were we. Sal and her team began to feel like our family, as well. We are so thankful that she was able to spend her final time surrounded by people who truly cared for her wellbeing. I honestly don’t believe she could have received better care anywhere else. If you are looking for a loving, well-run assisted living HOME rather than a large, sterile facility where residents can easily be overlooked, I would recommend Desired Living without hesitation. For anyone placing a cherished loved one into assisted living, this is the kind of place you hope to find. 10/10 highly recommend.

My mom was there for a short time with hospice. The care given was exceptional. The owner Sal went above and beyond to make sure my mom would be comfortable. I truly believe that if we found Desired Living sooner my mom would've have been here a little longer. Best in the area!

The people who care for residents at Desired Living are truly amazing! My mom lived there and they (as well as the administration) tried daily in every interaction to make her more comfortable, cook special treats for her and entertain her so she could remain healthy and happy. If something happens to me, I want to go here! It is a secret gem!

I had an extremely positive experience with Desired Living Home Assisted Living Facility and feel honored to give them my highest personal recommendation. They provided superb care to my husband David that was far above and beyond the services of any Assisted Living Community. Of particular assistance was that the CEO and COO are both RNs who are available 24/7 to serve patient needs. David being accompanied to medical appointments by either of them was a great benefit as they possess the medical insight to discuss technical matters with all health care providers. While at Desired Living Home care, David experienced myriad serious medical issues and surgeries. Their excellent medical assistant team well managed to provide a high quality of life. I almost never write a review for a business but Desired Home Living strongly merits such.

Several years ago, my dad had a stroke that left him unable to live alone. I tried a number of the assisted living businesses in the area, however, I found all of them to be grossly deficient when it comes to taking care of your loved one. I found Desired Living just as it was opening. It would prove to be a God send. I am positive that my dad would not have lived this long, without the care he receives at Desired Living. They take care of him as if he is part of their family. The care they provide has also relieved a great deal of my stress. I no longer worry incessantly about his well-being, because I know that he is in great hands. I highly recommend and thank Desired Living.
