DICKSON HOLLOW

Very attractive facility but needs to update signage because the newest apartment was unknown and difficult to find. I changed my review from 4-star to 5-star, after speaking with a member of the facility management team. Their primary interest was in ensuring that both residents and visitors could find the facility, of course. We also discussed how some roadside address signage might make a big impact on finding the correct building once on site. It was refreshing to have a person be so willing to hear some feedback, and I was quite happy to assist.

I went with my girlfriend to visit her grandmother in memory care and was stunned to find a staff member sleeping on the dining room table. I was also not impressed by the way they talked to the residents, it’s no wonder my grandmother in law was having behaviors there with the way the staff treated their residents. Worst memory care EVER!

My mother called Dickson Hollow home for 4 years. As I was there quite often I was able to interact with front desk staff, administrative staff, kitchen staff and the care team. The compassion my mother and I felt from all departments was outstanding. As my mothers needs changed everyone was so accommodating. I could go on and on about this facility as our expectations were exceeded at every level.

The building is beautiful. The food and amenities are great. But what sets Dickson Hollow apart is the people. The leadership is supportive and compassionate and the care team is top notch. I highly recommend.

Even though my grandma was only able to call Dickson Hollow home for a short time, it was the absolute best experience my family could have asked for. The staff is friendly, responsive, and compassionate. We knew she was receiving the best care possible, which brought us so much comfort. If you are looking for a senior community for yourself or your loved one, Dickson Hollow should definitely be at the top of your list.
