His leadership is evident throughout the community. The staff was consistently attentive, compassionate, and responsive, ensuring that my client felt supported and cared for every step of the way. It is clear that this community operates with heart, professionalism, and a strong commitment to resident well-being. My parents were both residents here. My Dad was in memory care. The team here did such a great job and were so caring. It took so much off my mind to know they were in fantastic care. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Both of my parents have now passed but I feel so good that they were in GREAT hands here. You will not be disappointed.

I recently met the Executive Director from Discovery Commons Whittier and it was an absolute pleasure! He leads a beautiful community and speaks highly of his staff and especially his residents. I could sense the pride and joy in his passion when he took the time to explain why he does what he does. Getting to have a position to make an impact on the senior community is something to be said for the generations that are vulnerable and at times invisible to todays generations. The warm feel of the community as he described it was one to make me feel confident that my loved ones would absolutely love this community. I visited here last month. The receptionist was very welcoming. They have a lobby/waiting room for guest with very comfortable seating and fresh coffee. Discovery Commons went through a beautiful renovation. The hallways are very spacious and free of clutter. Each resident has a glass case outside their room that displays things they like which adds a heartwarming personalized touch. The lunch room is awesome, has lots of windows that let in some great natural light, ample seating for everyone, and easy to walk around room. That's important for wheelchair mobility. I've worked with the team here as a community partner, providing hospice care for residents as an RN. So, I can say they genuinely care about their residents and are diligent in their services. I was happy to see Frances as their Director. We've worked together in the past and have built a reliable working relationship over the past few years through respecting each other's great work ethic. She does a wonderful job at keeping a friendly environment and holding standards high.

I can’t say enough about the exceptional care and service at Whittier Place Senior Living. A client of mine is in their memory care unit, and after speaking with family members who have loved ones at this facility, I’ve been consistently impressed with the level of care and attention they provide. What’s noteworthy is the fairly new administrative staff at Whittier Place, and the existing members of staff that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Special mention goes to Amanda, the Activity Director, who goes above and beyond to ensure residents have engaging and fulfilling days. And, of course, Elizabeth in residential sales, whose dedication and commitment to families seeking care solutions is truly commendable. The entire staff, both new and experienced, creates a warm and nurturing environment. Their dedication to the residents is truly heartwarming. Communication is outstanding - they keep families well-informed about their loved ones’ well-being and any changes in their condition. It’s a tremendous comfort to know their residents are in such capable and caring hands. The facility itself is not only clean but also beautifully updated. It’s clear that Whittier Place places a high priority on providing a safe and pleasant living space for their residents. I’m grateful to have found Whittier Place Senior Living, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a place that genuinely cares for their loved ones.
