I spent 3 months here following a massive stroke and i cant speak more highly about it. The live in facility was very clean and felt like home when i was there. Staff was attentive and friendly.my room would be cleaned daily and the consistent routine got me out of a depressed funk I had prior to being there. Weekly outings provided a sense of “normalcy” and socialization. Meals were made-on site and home cooked, not your typical “facility food. Tina is a great cook! I still keep in touch with other patients who lived there when I did. It was nice not to feel judged or stared at or uncomfortable as I processed my new physical condition. I gained such a strong sense of independence and everything was very accessible. I realized I could still have a normal life despite the situation. I miss it! Therapy gave me a constant schedule and routine therapistswere friendly and I made great strides and improvement Teresa is a great speech therapist, very caring and genuine Dee, Randi, Kat, Lauren, Raneen, tara,Kirsten, Teresa, Sarah, Rachel. Thank you alll!

Dixie Lodge Living and Wellness is a great place for you or your loved one to heal, rehabilitate, rest, recover, and partake in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Recreational Therapy and so much more. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. The living quarters are very clean and has a very nice "home-like" feel to it. There is a RN (Registered Nurse) on staff 24/7 along with a CNA and Direct Care Professionals. I'd highly recommend Dixie Lodge.

My brother-in-law was a patient here after a car accident and I was very impressed with the care he received. What a beautiful place and therapy gym! Therapist were knowledgeable and personable and the equipment was brand new with high tech and innovative therapy techniques. This place felt more like home than a facility. The caregivers were very friendly and attentive. They cooked the food right on site in a large kitchen area and involved some of the patients to help with cooking. The dining table/area and living area had a homey up north feeling and it’s very clean. Our family was worried about my brother-in-law and wanted to have one family member a night stay with him to make sure everything was OK for the beginning on care. The facility normally doesn’t have visitors to stay overnight but when we requested, they didn’t hesitate! They ordered a cot bed that day and by evening arrived with the bed. Really loved this place!

This place is spectacular. My family has had quite a bit of therapy with some recent and previous traumas and this place is by far the best. In addition if you or a loved one requires more attentive assistance, the live-in care is just as impressive. Polite, efficient and attentive. Could not ask for a better experience!
