The staff is careless to resident needs and rather talk to eachother/ throw endless work parties. The entire place only cares about money will not do anything extra out of kindness unless its apart of the task sheet. The managers are aware of the neglect from caregivers and other managers and refuse to do anything about it. Memory Care manager was the best and most caring woman. Would never put my grandparents here.

My mother was recently placed at Carlton Senior Living. I had researched facilities just before Covid... I had hoped to take Mom on some tours, and make decisions about a "future time" when placement might be needed... but we never got to tour because of Covid. Last month, Mom took a serious downturn. She no longer recognized her home, and began talking about wanting to "go and find" her home. I knew she needed more care than what I was able to provide... and quick! Because of my earlier research I knew that Carlton appeared to be the best fit for Mom. The location was a familiar place. Other neighbors had gone to Carlton over the years. When I met with a manager, she said that they had a room for my mother as soon as the next day! I wanted to share how much we appreciate all the wonderful folks at Carlton and all that they have done to make my mother's transition smooth. Everyone from the facilities staff who got her room ready, the front desk staff that answered my many questions, and greeted me with a smile everyday, the kitchen staff that delivered delicious meals (Mom loves the food!) three times a day during a Covid quarantine, the medical staff and nurse who has called me for details about mom's medications and the staff who "check in" on my mother every morning to make sure that she is up, dressed, and that her dog has water and the gentle kindness that they extend to her. Everyone has been so kind and understanding. I have felt very welcome at Carlton, and my Mom has transitioned so much quicker than I ever hoped. They do not have enough staff to properly care for residents. Especially on weekends. When staff tells a resident to post the bed. That is unacceptable. Because the caregivers are run so thin they cant make it all the time to assist with bathroom.

Carlton Senior Living is really amazing. Our beloved Mom has been here for eleven years. She enjoys every day. Always very clean and best of all the people who work here are always smiling and very positive.
