Dominion Village at Poquoson

A few months ago we visited this facility. With other places we visited this one was the one that felt like we were home. Everyone made us feel welcome. Building is smaller to other facilities we visited. You want a Community that everyone pitches in and help this is the one. The building looks nice from the parking lot to all around facility. It was decided a family member would be move here. Since move In they have been still friendly and very helpful with the needs of our love one. The friendships with residents already have been made. The staff is there for they residents and treats them like family.

My mother would not be alive if it wasn’t for the watchful and compassionate staff at Dominion Village at Poquoson. She had a stroke. You only have 2 hours to treat a stroke. The staff found her within an hour and called 911. The clot was removed and we still have our mother with a great outcome. I’m a Family Physician. I looked at several facilities.I knew when you look at facilities for your loved one you want to look at the Patient/Staff ratio. Marble counter tops and fancy interiors aren’t going to take care of your loved ones. Dominion at Poquoson had the best Patient/Staff ratio I could find. It paid off for my mother and for our family. I can’t thank the staff at Dominion Village at Poquoson enough.

An Amazing Team with Heartfelt Care I can’t say enough good things about the incredible team led by Rayna. From the moment we arrived, the staff showed such kindness, patience, and understanding, especially when caring for my mother, who can sometimes be challenging. Their compassion and professionalism truly stood out. The food was another highlight! It was not only delicious but beautifully presented—just like something you’d expect at a family dinner at home. Dominion Village is a small facility which allows for more personalized care. The facility is clean and fresh and its staff are the best. Each and every one of them truly care and are proud to dedicate their time and efforts into making sure my loved one is safe and happy. I consider them all to be part of my family.
