Every day, my dad shares how much he likes living at Drumlin Reserve, which he truly considers home. He loves every aspect of his life there, from his great apartment to the friendships he has formed, the attentive staff, and the delicious meals that spare him from cooking. After a year in this wonderful community, he is genuinely happy and actively engaged in varies activities. Whether it's exercise classes, balloon volleyball, coffee clutch, coloring club, bingo, Sunday movies or trivia during Happy Hour, he embraces each opportunity with enthusiasm. As his daughter, it warms my heart to see him so very happy and safe.

Not only is Drumlin Reserve-Assisted Living a special place to call home for our loved ones, it is also a warm and welcoming ‘feels like family’ community for them as well. While we visit there, we see and hear the staff and residents invested in one another; greeting each other by name and interacting through amazing craft activities, exercising or playing games together. One Saturday we popped in for a visit and found ‘Elvis’ making a concert appearance!! We love how fun events for the residents and their families even occur on weekends! The residents have many off site opportunities to participate in as well; riding a bus to see the Holiday Lights display in Madison, attending a theater show at The Fireside or even riding the scenic Ducks in the Dells, just to name a few! Caring, compassionate and supportive staff and residents are there for each other-helping to celebrate accomplishments or even to help heal a hurting heart as needed. We count our blessings many times over, knowing how safe and comfortable our loved ones are as happy residents of the Drumlin Reserve Community. Respectfully, Betsy

While we were there they had several different bug infections, including bed bugs. The fire alarm would go off at night with no direction and total confusion.. Then they would turn out to be caused by employees making popcorn. They didn't even know how turn turn off a false alarm! Activities were inconsistent.

My mom was very reluctant to leave the place where she’d been living in a home with me and move to assisted living because she didn’t think that would be the place for her. But it has turned out to be the BEST place for her, and for me! I’ve encountered nothing but pleasant people on staff who are considerate and kind and they call my mom by her name. They have a peer run exercise group, shopping, out to eat. And they have food that’s delicious. I often join my mom for a meal. Also, she’s made friends so I think it’s a perfect place for her. Thank you for all you do to make Drumlin cozy

After caring for my mother with dementia for over 7 months in my home, I moved her to Drumlin Reserve Memory Care in Cottage Grove. She has been there for over 2 years now and couldn't be more happy with the decision we made. The care she receives is great and the staff takes care of her needs very professionally. The Director and other managing staff have been very receptive to questions and making reasonable accommodations for my mother. She is in great care and I know she is safe, secure, and her needs are being met. As with any facility, there is always room for improvement and staff have always been open to suggestions or different ways of accomplishing care goals. I, or another family member, visit my mother almost every day and have never witnessed anything that would cause me to pause and question the care anyone is receiving in the facility. Your loved one will receive great care and you will have comfort in knowing they are safe in the facility. Just recently I was experiencing difficulty getting my mother approved for Medicaid. Director Travis Borchert assisted me with some questions and even offered me solutions to help find ways to bridge the gap between the time when my mother's money ran out to the time Medicaid would take over payments for her care. Travis went above and beyond with his assistance so my mother could stay in the facility without having to move her once again (Which is something you do not want to do to someone in advanced stages of dementia). Overall I would recommend the Drumlin Reserve Campus to anyone looking for a place for their love one to live.
