Dunbar Village Courtyard

Dunbar Village has been a true Godsend to my mom. They provide tailored care to meet her needs. The staff in the therapy department took her under their “angel wings” with not only expertise in their fields, but also love in their hearts - showing tenderness, patience, and humor. Their nursing team is attentive to her needs and easy to reach when questions arise. Knowing she is content and well cared for is a blessing to our family.

Dunbar Village is amazing. Katy made the transition so easy. She is always available and willing to help. The staff is superior! They truly do care about their patients. The residents always have a full calendar of activities. I will forever be grateful for their kindness and the excellent care they take of my mother-in-law.

My mom is a resident at Dunbar Village and I am so thankful for the care that she receives… I can sleep at night knowing she is being taken care of, and I don’t have to worry about something happening to her. They keep the elders entertained with so many activities, but Mom’s favorite is always bingo. I can’t say thank you enough to the staff that provide the care and love that my mom deserves.

My mother has been a resident of Dunbar village since the beginning of 2025. She originally went there for their skilled nursing care after a hospital stay. She was really nervous when she first got there but the Dunbar staff worked with her and really help her feel at ease. She is now there as a long term resident and I have to say she is thriving! I was worried about her transition leaving her home and being there but it has been so much easier than I ever imagined! My mom loves the staff and other residents. Her quality life is so great there! They treat her with love and dignity! They make her laugh! Ha! Since being there my mom participates in daily activities and has even started venturing out with the staff on Outings! The medical staff keep me completely informed on how she is doing and calls me immediately when they change anything or have any questions. They also answer any questions or concerns I have promptly. The physical therapists are the sweetest! She has made great progress since she has been there. They encourage her and lift her up! Physically and emotionally! I would and will recommend Dunbar Village to anyone looking for a place for their loved one whether for skilled nursing or long term care! It’s been the best decision for my mom and our family! We have such peace of mind knowing that she is being so well taken care of! I really feel like they have given my mom back to us!

This place has been incredible... my mother entered 3 months ago and was total assist to move from the chair to the toilet to the bed and required 100% assistance to shower. She was only able to get around in a wheelchair when someone pushed the chair for her. Currently she ambulates on a rolling walker independently. She takes a shower by herself. She is able to get in and out of her bed and make her bed independently. The therapy team has been unbelievable and I say that with everything I have inside of me! I have been a speech therapist working with adults for 36 years. I've never seen such a tremendous team make such a difference. The nursing staff is just as great. They really do care for their residents and make everybody feel as though they're just as special as if they were living in their own personal home. 100% AMAZING!
