Dutch Haven Assisted Living

My Great-uncle was placed here and it's a very nice facility, compared to what he was in before. The staff are very friendly, caring and compassionate. My Great-uncle would be involved with activities on a daily basis and the staff made him comfortable in his last days and they even came to his funeral. He enjoyed the homemade meals that was served. In addition it was closer to be able to visit him compared to where he was originally. If I ever have to be placed in a facility, I would want to be placed here.

Do NOT put your loved ones in this horror show of assisted living. My dad was overweight, diabetic, with heart conditions. They overfeeding him, gave him dessert EVERY NIGHT, and never did any physical activities or things to stimulate him mentally. If your loved one has dementia...DEFINITELY do NOT put them in ANY assisted living place. My dad died after after a month at this nhorror house

I have visited my Aunt several times here. Clean & friendly place. The staff is always pleasant and makes you feel like your home. I am thankful that in this pandemic, that we still have caring people who want to be caregivers!

Please do not send your family members here. There are far better facilities to choose from that allow your family to go outside without being punished among many other things. This place needs to be reviewed by the state and shut down. Absolutely awful place.

This assisted living facility needs to be shut down. They are treating the people living there horribly. They have a communal bathroom where patients have used the bathroom on the floor, staff doesn’t clean, and when others come in the have to hold their pants up so they don’t get wet. They are feeding them foods such as Mac and cheese and hot dogs. These people and their families are paying way too much money for them to stay there for them to not be receiving balanced, healthy meals. They will also not let people go outside and walk around or they will be “grounded.” This place is HORRIBLE for the well being, safety and mental health of those living there and something needs to be done.
