The assisted living residents are a great group! There are some good staff and some that shouldn’t be there. My mother was a resident for about 5 months, she had Alzheimer’s and wasn’t able to speak up for herself. At one point she started wandering and was given a wander guard, that night she walked out the front door and fell on a culvert. The staff didn’t find her, 911 was called when someone heard her yelling. My mother was verbally abused and neglected, I was lied to repeatedly. Management uses some of the staff like puppets, get’s information from them and twist it to their advantage.

I have a relative currently residing in this facility. The care is inconsistent, primarily due to the staff on duty at the time. The inconsistencies flow into all aspects of the care that is needed. This includes, but not limited to, medication administration, bathing, night time routines, resident checks that are documented for all to complete and sadly empathy, patience and basic caring for another human. The remainder inconsistencies fall on the leadership. If leaders have no regard for punctuality, honesty, basic communication, follow through or setting an example, why would staff perform any differently? Making drink runs and leaving early on a regular basis is not the behavior of good leaders. This facility has lost sight of their most basic purpose- the care and well being of the residents.

My mother was in there for 10 days very bad experience. She wouldnt ever get any help right away especially on the nights and weekends. No help to get out of bed and to the bathroom at night so she would wet the bed and have to lay in it the rest of the night. They would change the bedding in the morning and left wet mattress pads on it more than once that we noticed. Threw the wet bedding on the floor in the bathroom instead of taking it to the washing room. The day we packed her up they had been without hot water for 7 days and counting. She didnt get 1 shower or bath in 10 days. Horrible experience she was so relieved to get out of there and no one even noticed that we packed her up and left!!!!

My husband and I are in this facility several times monthly, and we have found the staff to be absolutely fantastic!

Eagle Ridge Senior feels like home to me. The staff is so kind and patient with the residents and treats everyone like family. The location is perfect, it's close to downtown but very quiet on the hill. I believe the residents love living here❣️
