Thank God for Eagle Point. I was worried sick about putting my Mom in a home but the whole staff has made the transition beautifully. My mother looks beautiful and is really appreciative of how friendly the staff is to her. She smiles more and my peace of mind knowing she is cared for is priceless. Thank you to the Staff at Eagle for all you do!!

My mother moved in recently and I can't tell you how pleased I am with Eagles Pointe Assisted Living in Goldsboro NC. My mom has dementia and it can be a challenge "redirecting" her but I have to say the staff has been great with this. This is not an easy task. She is always saying things like "I have to go to work but can't find me car" or" where is the pool" (she was a swimmer for years) and the staff knows not to correct but to redirect. Unless you have a loved one with dementia you have no idea how important this is to do and to do it with patience since it can happen multiple times throughout the day. I know the staff on a first name basis and my heart feels full knowing she is in wonderful hands. Shakita the clinical lead is amazing. She is always available to me with any questions I have and sends me updates on my mom and how she is. Lisa the enrichment director is always engaging the residents in fun activities, especially bingo which my mom enjoys. My moms aides Stacey and NeNe make sure my mom has everything she needs and is having a good day. Shanee the Executive Director has been wonderful to work with making herself available anytime with questions or assistance I may have or need. She is also a great cook putting together a Family Thanksgiving celebration this past week for the residents and their families, preparing the feast herself along with the kitchen Director Sharon. With the help from the staff they were able to feed the residents and their family members, which is no easy task. The clinical staff both day and night shifts are work horses. The fact they can manage every little thing that is required for each resident is truely amazing. Brian head of Maintenance, has been invaluable. He helped with TV setup and with the furniture move and if I have any questions/concerns he is always available. Last but not least is Amy the Sales and Marketing Director. She was my first contact in getting a tour and answering all my questions about Eagles Pointe. At no point did I feel pressure in making a decision quickly. I visited several facilities and none of them compared to Eagles Pointe. I know in my heart that I choose the perfect place for my mom to live and thrive in this phase of her life. I know she is safe and being cared for by staff that treat her like their own family member.

From day one Ms. Shanee and her staff have welcomed us with open arms. Ms Shanee and her staff are always there to ease your mind and to give support when needed. We’ve cried together, laughed together and at times held me up and gave me peace, when I didn’t think I was making the right decision! You are truly the hands and feet of Jesus! Bonus points!! When your Greatgrandchidren want to have a sleepover you know it feels like 🏡 Thank you Eagles Pointe for taking good care of our Nana and loving us!♥️🦅

This community has been through a lot of changes. The building was purchased by Navion and they actually care about their communities and actually invest back into them. The new administrator really has the passion to genuinely care about not only the residents but the staff as well. You should stop by and meet the new team. The environment feels inviting.

Eagle's Pointe is an outstanding facility that attempts to work with residents regardless of their abilities. My loved one moved into the facility about two months ago. According to my mother, the food is excellent! She also likes that she has a spacious room and can decorate her room anyway that she wants. She has made several friends at the facility, and she enjoys their company. I also appreciate that the rooms have walk-in showers and shower chairs. They have several activities room, but the one that tends to be used the most is the one with a fireplace. My mother enjoys sitting by the fireplace. She also enjoys the snacks that they provide, in particularly, that they provide a variety of options. The executive director, Megan Parks, is insightful, resourceful, and empathetic director. She listens to the residents' concerns and actively interacts with residents. In short, she's not the kind of director that hides in their office. She actively engages with residents and steps in when staff need additional assistance. The staff, in particularly, Ms. Judy, is kind and caring not only to my mother but also the rest of the residents. The caregiving staff are very quick in responding to residents' needs and wants. Tammy, the business coordinator, also actively interacts with residents. She also listens to residents' concerns. The facility includes a dedicated rehab section in the facility, and the clinicians who come in on a weekly basis to check in on residents are outstanding clinicians. In short, anyone who is considering a facility for their loved one should consider Eagle's Pointe.
