This year, as my father-in-law began to decline in health due to Alzheimer’s, our family found ourselves on a difficult and emotional journey trying to find the right place to care for him. What started as assisted living quickly progressed into memory care as his needs changed. After multiple hospitalizations and a placement in another facility, my wife and I were heartbroken by the living conditions and level of care we encountered elsewhere. In a moment of desperation, East Lake Manor was recommended to us, and from the very beginning, it was clear this place was different. East Lake Manor is not a large, institutional environment. It feels much more like a home, and that intimate setting made an immediate difference for my father-in-law. The owners and staff showed a level of compassion, attentiveness, and personal care that we simply had not experienced in other facilities. They took a genuine interest in him, treating him not as a resident, but as someone truly valued. Communication was constant, and we consistently witnessed generosity, kindness, and dignity in the way care was provided. Even during my father-in-law’s final transition, we saw the staff quietly offering a prayer over him, a moment of compassion our family will never forget. It is rare to find elder care that feels this personal and heartfelt. We will always be grateful for what East Lake Manor provided during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. If you find yourself needing memory care or assisted living for a loved one, I would highly recommend East Lake Manor.

I know this place since 10 years ago ,I work back then ,was very nice at that time and is very good now. I was taking care of 96 years old man with dementia ,he is a father of our friends and when time arrive now, I recommend this place for him at this ALF. His family lives in California ,so I am only one to check on him ,this place is the best regarding care for residents ,food is so good ,they please residents needs. His family when they saw this facility ,they like from the moment when they walk in ,is very friendly ,clean and feels warm like home , they have entertainments and Sundays provided church time with communion if somebody want it, I recommend this beautiful place for anyone who needs 24 hours care .

I used to visit a close friend's mother at East Lake Manor and on every occasion the facility was clean and my friend's mother always had good things to say about the place and the caring staff. It is a facility I would trust to take care of my loved one. The owners actively participate in managing the daily operation of the facility and are passionate about providing great service to their residents and their families.

My longtime friend whom I care for had been at two different ALF’s prior, was declining and had fallen twice, the last fall put him in ICU with a brain bleed. Then I found East Lake Manor, am so glad I moved him there, plus he could not be happier too. First its like you are at someone’s home, and not a facility, everyone there are so well cared for and happy. More importantly, my friend is doing much better, and thriving once again. Sylvester and his lovely wife run this family owned ALF, and they treat everyone like family. I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem of an ALF. If you visit you will see what I am talking about, and will be glad you took the time to tour East Lake Manor.

The staff and owner (Sylvester & Tina) of Eastlake Manor were outstanding in caring for nearly 3 years for my mother-in-law before her passing. The facility was clean and the residents were friendly to her as the newcomer. Everyone greeted us every time we came to visit (which was frequently) and being a smaller facility with the owners operating it made the family member much more comfortable. My mother-in-law's laundry was always done promptly and many time Sylvester would chat with us when we were visiting. We are greatful that they had a room for her when the family made the decision that she require 24 hr assistance (post stroke). We whole heartedly would reccomend Eastlake Manor for your loved one. If you had to wait it is worth it rather than placing your loved one in a corporately owned facility. Dr. Robert Christ
