This facility is like home for my mother. The staff is always pleasant and treats her like one of the family. When we visit we are always greeted with a smile and friendly hello. Ky (a staff member) will always go out of his way to remind her she’s loved and everything will be ok. The medical staff is wonderful and work well with the doctors if needed. I’m so grateful that this was the right decision.

Quality starts at the top!!!! There should be no doubt in your mind once you meet the administrator of this quaint Memory Care facility that your family member or loved one is in great hands! To know someone in charge takes the time to truly understand her position, the services and her staff is so reassuring! Thank you to you and your team Stephanie, for all you do!!!

My mother has lived at The Gardens of Eastbrooke for about 6 months. The staffs care of her and for her is comforting in the midst of her transition from independent living. The food is great and the staff is very helpful.

Unacceptable Sanitation and Care Failures—Ongoing Guardian Concerns As the legal guardian of a resident at this facility, I’ve witnessed repeated and unresolved issues that point to serious lapses in hygiene, medical care, and respect for residents' dignity. From early on, the resident's room has been left in unsanitary condition, with dirty diapers left on the floor, soiled air vents, and visible trash left uncollected. Even after multiple requests, these conditions persisted. Compounding the issue, staff have repeatedly placed clothing and shoes belonging to other residents into her personal closet. Despite my continued efforts to remove these misplaced items and request a clean environment, the same issues return—indicating a systemic breakdown in room-level oversight. These conditions are not just unsightly—they pose real health risks, especially for residents with compromised immune systems. Coupled with the facility’s failure to administer or document physician-ordered treatment and failure to coordinate specialist follow-up, this neglect is deeply concerning. Family members should not have to micromanage basic cleanliness or chase down updates on critical care. It is the facility’s legal and ethical duty to provide a safe, clean, and dignified environment—yet those standards are not being met. Oversight agencies and prospective families should take these concerns seriously.
