From the moment I stopped by without an appointment and Kenneth Gibson, the Executive Director, welcomed me and patiently walked me through the community, I felt my worries about finding the right place for my mom begin to ease. His compassion and professionalism were immediately reassuring. Amy Valentino, the Sales Director, guided us through the transition with warmth and clear communication, making an overwhelming process feel manageable during a very emotional time. Once my mom moved in, Valerie Sharpe, who manages the caretaker team, became the heart of our peace of mind. She leads with attentiveness and expects a level of dedication and care from her staff that truly shows in the way they support each resident. Knowing my mom is under her leadership has brought our family a comfort we didn’t know we could feel. This team has given my mother dignity, safety, and genuine compassion—and given our family deep gratitude in return.

Commonwealth Senior Living is a wonderful facility. The staff are incredibly helpful and supportive, the building is clean and I would personally recommend it to any of my loved ones. Amy Valentino in sales and marketing, is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Day or night she has been available when needed and leaves such a positive presence in that community.

I was very impressed with this community! The space is very bright and open and the residents seem very happy. I also think the staff appears to like their jobs and they offer so much to help residents adjust and find their own comfort. I feel their needs will be met with compassion. I was approached by a woman outside who had picked up her husband and she couldn’t say enough good things about her husband’s care there! I think this could be the best place for my brother-in-law to thrive!

Faced with some tough situations, Commonwealth Bon Air has been such a great help to families. Amy Valentino has gone above and beyond to assist the families considering this community for their loved one. Thank you for all that you do to honor and care for our seniors!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness, decor, as well as the friendliness of the staff, especially Denise at the front desk, who was so kind and cheerful. I entered the dining hall and sat with my friend Russ Leonard, and his friend Ben. The dining room staff was very polite and accommodating. Overall. I was very impressed with the entire facility. Would go there myself someday when the time comes!
