ECLIPSE HOME CARE

My father was a resident at Eclipse in Orangevale for four years before he sadly passed away due to complications from dementia. We first placed him at Eclipse when he began having difficulty managing his medications. As his disease progressed and he eventually required 24/7 care, the staff provided the support and attention he needed every step of the way. The residence is always clean, well maintained, and never has unpleasant odors—something that can unfortunately be common in care facilities. The residents are consistently attended to in a timely and compassionate manner, which gave our family great peace of mind. Eclipse is also licensed for hospice care, and the staff worked very well with hospice providers as well as other home health agencies involved in my father’s care. Their communication and coordination were excellent. The owner, Maggie, was always incredibly accommodating to my father’s specific needs. She was responsive, compassionate, and made sure communication between the staff and our family was clear and consistent. The only reason I’m giving Eclipse 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some staff turnover. Many caregivers come from Jamaica, and occasionally some return home after only a couple of months. However, the caregivers who were there treated my father with kindness and respect. Overall, Eclipse provided a safe, clean, and caring environment for my father during the most difficult stage of his life, and our family is very grateful for the care he received.
