EDEN MEMORY CARE

My father was at Village Green Memory Care Community in Cypress for approximately eight months before he passed away. I was only able to visit a few times because I live out of state, but the staff did their best for the residents and my father received quality care. The team oversees medications, manages the facilities, provides all meals, and offers activities. The center is built for only 16 residents, so there is a "homey" feel. The main gathering space and dining room is filled with natural light and looks out on a spacious patio and garden area. Institutionalized care is not private care, and he did not receive one on one support or social interaction. But, he was safe and well looked after. The work is challenging as many residents are not able to help themselves or are uncooperative. However, I found a great deal of patience and compassion in the care team, for which our family is very grateful. Some of the nurses and caregivers were stellar in their support of their very elderly and needy patients.

This facility is amazing and comes highly recommended for those who want complete fulfillment for older citizens! I had the honor of coming here to serve alongside a classmate. In addition to being incredibly kind, Ms. Chasity showed genuine compassion for every individual residing at the nursing facility. She was genuinely interested in individuals and followed up to make sure they were happy and okay, which I found admirable. This particular nursing home, in my opinion, was really lovely and clean, and the residents were all content and engaged. People kept on participating since there were plenty of things for them to do. Like Ms. Charity, the staff workers were very kind and friendly as well!

As a student nurse I had the opportunity to volunteer at Village Green Memory Care located at 13058 Grant Rd, Cypress, TX 77429 and I just can say that it was a wonderful experience. The manager, Ms. Chasity, and all her team show great love, kindness, and compassion to all the residents at any time. The place made me feel like I was at home. The residents are treated with dignity which is very important for them and their loved ones. I absolutely recommend this place.

Our family is so lucky to have found a place like Eden for our mother. The staff (especially Raquel) made her feel so welcomed. They treat residents with dignity and respect. Our mom is thriving after 2 horrific experiences in out of state memory care. The Eden team really engages with residents. For ex: My mom loves to clean and they give her "jobs" so she can feel useful. Raquel keeps us informed and shares pics even on the weekends. They have parties and crafts and movies and excercise videos. Our mom fit in right away and is making friends. The facility is beautiful. On the first day she was served lunch in the courtyard. She said she felt like she was at a fancy resort! I could go on for days about how much we appreciate the team at Eden!

After moving my husband three times due to awful care, the third time was a charm. Eden Memory Care provides a loving, safe, and wonderful environment for my husband. And the staff is highly competent! Erma the director not only is truly kind, she knows her stuff and manages the place in such a professional manner. I admire her and her staff so much and I am so grateful to all of them! Also, the food is fresh and chef prepared by someone who knows about brain health. Robin is so great. Dementia is the worst disease ever, but Eden Memory Care provides a place for family and helps us get through this terrible time.
