EDGEWATER RETIREMENT MANOR

When I moved in five years ago it was a nice place. But it turned over three times. In 2019 and in 2020 it was really bad. The staff didn’t do any more than they had to and they were mean and they stole a lot! They had a shed for boxes you couldn’t keep in your room. I had a lot of valuables stolen and thrown out! The most DEVASTATING thing to me was they threw out my box of pictures that I had of my family, 70 years of hundreds and hundreds of pictures that can never be replaced!! I’m so glad I moved out at the end of 2020!!! I’M GLAD THIS PLACE IS CLOSING DOWN!!!!

I justed moved out of here. Medications given wrong and supplies like diapers are never kept in stock and they want you to wear diapers that are 2 sizes to small. I would never put a family member in here they don't care about the residents they just care about getting that monthly rent money.

The place is beautiful, but the care was awful. I had to move my mom out of there. She complained of them not cleaning her well and even being mean to her, and she never had such complaints at the facility she was at prior to this. They were going through a lot of staff changes at the time, so that may be why, but it was heartbreaking to get calls from my mom about how she's been pushing her button for over an hour, after she had an accident in her pants, and no one was coming to clean her up. She broke out in a terrible rash while she was there. Also, over $300 of new cloths disappeared while she was there, as well as her cell phone and much of her personal items, and the facility never did anything about it.

It's a nice place to live. Some of the staff are rude. Some of the residents think they are owners. It is nice to be in the dinning room and have the water right across the street. The bad part is there are no activities and no bus to take us to activies they keep saying they are working on getting one but I ve been here over 3 years and it hasn't happend

Nice place for family members.. I have had a couple of relatives live in this facility. The home environment is wonderful. Beauitful view of the water. Nice homey feel
