Edgewood is the best memory care in Missoula. Dylan, Brii, Cindy and the rest of the staff truly care about the residents from the day they move in to the day they leave. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with anyone close to me. Walking into the building makes you feel at home even when you are just visiting. Everything from the walk up to the front doors is so welcoming. If you are considering memory care for a loved one Edgewood is the only place to look.

My Dad came to live at Edgewood Vista in 2019 and passed away in 2023. Edgewood Vista provided excellent care for my Dad. He felt very safe and secure at Edgewood Vista, both in his own room surrounded by familiar things and with the staff, when his continuous anxiety became too much to remain safely at home. Communication by the staff was excellent. We frequently worked out of town, however we never felt “out of the loop” regarding the status of my dad. Frequent updates were communicated quickly with good recommendations when needed. Dedication by the staff was top notch. Maintaining medication schedules, physical therapy, meals, room cleanliness and social events were well planned end executed. When COVID-19 broke out the team responded well to provide protection for the residents, staff and visitors with ever changing guidelines throughout the pandemic. When my Dad’s disease was too much for our family to care for at home, Edgewood Vista provided that care and earned valuable trust from our family.

Edgewood (Missoula) took my mother in and treated us like family. I always felt more than welcome to spend time there. Nurse Cindy’s experience and level of care was reassuring and she kept me informed every step of the way. Esmerelda keeps the residents engaged and included as long as they feel like doing so. Jeff puts his heart and soul into the meals. And the caregivers…so many we came to love…they work tirelessly to help residents maintain dignity while assisting with activities of daily living. What could have been a difficult year and a half for me was made so much better knowing my mom was receiving such comprehensive care.

I am Joanne Knapp, the wife of Bob Knapp who was a resident at Edgewood Missoula Memory Care for 10 months. While it is not easy to make this decision initially, and not knowing how the transition will go, I could not be more pleased with the outcome we experienced. The staff welcomed Bob and immediately made him feel important with a sense of belonging. The care and attention never decreased, in fact it increased over the time Bob was a resident. Not only did they care for Bob, but the care and compassion they showed me and Bob’s family is priceless. I am so grateful for everyone at the Edgewood Missoula Memory Care.

Words alone cannot express my gratitude to all of the employees at Edgewood Memory Care in Missoula. From the director to the chef to the event coordinator to the nurses to the handyman, every person at Edgewood truly cares about their residents and their family. The facility itself is extremely well maintained, bright and cheery. The courtyard outback is stunning. The chef does a fantastic job of providing a full array of meals and catering to each resident’s needs. The compassion and love shown to all of their residents is truly remarkable. I cannot recommend Edgewood enough. I will forever be grateful to each and every employee there for the kindness and wonderful care that they provided my father.
