My wife spent her last days here at Elders of Mount Dora. I am eternally grateful to the loving and compassionate staff that gave her the very best care. There isn’t any place I would rather have had her. She was happy and appreciated for the lovely lady she was. I highly encourage anyone with same need to select this facility hands down. John Poyner

Feels like home. Clean, friendly. Available for any question and willing to help with anything. If I needed to go somewhere for assisted living this is the place for me. Thank goodness Elders care was available for my mom.

Our mother has been a resident of Elders of Mt Dora for almost 3 years and we are very pleased with her care. She is treated with respect and kindness during the most vulnerable era of her life. Jermaine and his team are like family to us and we appreciate them so much. I recommend Elders to anyone looking for a safe and caring home for their loved one.

The team/family that cared for my Mother-in-law during her final months of life, were absolute life-savers for my family and I. The tender care and concern along with the respect that they showed to her in all of her Alzheimer’s Disease condition were God-sent. After touring multiple types of facilities, almost all of which were either scary or far outside of economic possibility, a friend recommended we go visit. We hadn’t considered a “home-care” facility before but this ended up being perfect. Down to the hobby farm animals on the property that provided a welcome distraction for our kids as they watched their grandma gradually fade, we can’t say enough good about our experience with Elders of Mount Dora. It broke our hearts to watch Ruth, the original founder of the business, pass away from cancer just a month after our mother did, but the business has passed into the care of her husband and family who had valued what she was doing as much as she did. If they have space available, we recommend you visit.
