This facility is a truly excellent, hidden gem. My father received amazing care during his eight weeks here. The nurses treated him like family, providing constant support in his final days. The compassion shown to him daily, and the support extended to our family, is something we will never forget. We cannot thank them enough.

Elizabeth House is a hidden gem. A smaller community with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Matt (executive director) and Shontell (resident care director) lead the building with true kindness and compassion.

My brother was at Elizabeth House in Assisted Living from 12/2023 until 09/2024. My brother was well cared for by all staff. He would frequently laugh and joke with them. His medications were timely and if requesting “as needed” medications, they also were brought promptly. I, being medical POA, was always kept current on any health changes in my brother. The staff truly knew my brother (physically and socially). They were very adept at recognizing unusual / different behaviors. New carpeting / LVF is needed throughout the facility as well as, some walls needing to be painted. New furnishings in sitting areas, and better parking for visitors could also be addressed, but truth be told, those are minor inconveniences / aesthetics. I would truly recommend family members and potential residents to seriously look at the Elizabeth House.

Elizabeth House is a small quiet community where residents can enjoy a home-like atmosphere and receive the care and attention they deserve, without the extravagant care fees usually associated with Assisted Living Communities. It truly is Glen Allen's best kept secret!
