If I could give 0 stars I WOULD ! In my personal experience, Elk Creek Assisted Living has been extremely disappointing. Management feels disorganized, and I’ve gotten the runaround more than once. I also feel like staff are treated poorly, which shows in how things operate day-to-day. The new AWD comes across as very unprofessional in my opinion, and a lot of the things I’ve seen or heard about definitely don’t feel right. It may just be that the face short expressions may not be welcoming because the AWD does their best BUT first impressions are everything as well as tone is everything. Most nights there’s barely any staff—sometimes just one person covering both sides, from what I see. That does NOT make me feel confident that residents, including my loved one, are truly safe. There always seem to be incidents, and the overall environment just doesn’t feel secure. I also hear plenty of complaints from others. On top of that, a lot of visitors seem to know the door codes, which feels unsafe and unorganized. Some employees have been kind and truly caring toward my loved one, and I appreciate them. But overall, based on what I’ve seen, this place really needs serious improvement and more staffing to provide the safety families expect. I’m thankful for the ones who are truly there to make this place better but they need lots and lots of improvement. I can’t stress this enough. I hope in the future Elk Creek will be a better place and have better service.

Due to an urgent situation with my mothers health, we placed my mom here in late October in the memory care unit. I must say that it has been very smooth and enjoyable. Elk Creek staff have been very gracious towards my mom, can't complain, can only give praise from the senior staff to the aides. The aging chapter in anyone's life is hard, and emotions for everyone involved are roller coaster like but the staff here understands and respects every patient's chapter. I have seen it firsthand and can vouch for it. I don't how long my mom will live here, either moving to Heaven or another facility due to budget reasons (my parents are retired missionaries and live on a humble retirement). My family and I are super grateful for this facility's staff and the care towards her. Highly recommend this facility for short or long term care for your loved one.
