Kauhale is such a lovely place with the most wonderful staff. They go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable and cared for. They have many activities each week that are so much fun for the members. We are so happy and fortunate that our family member is there!

As a home health/hospice representative, I spend a lot of time in Assisted Living Facilities in the Mobile and Baldwin County area. I can honestly say that the staff here is the kindest and most attentive that I’ve seen and they are wholeheartedly committed to the happiness of their residents. The vibe here is just different and it is reflected in everything from the clinical to the custodial teams. When searching for a community that will respect the dignity and wellbeing of your loved ones…you cannot do better!

Staff is nice enough but that place smells so bad. The carpet smells like it's been soaked in urine clear back to the 80's. As much as you pay for rent I would at least expect the carpets to be shampooed instead of just vacuumed. The food is so so. I couldn't get past the smell to eat. 3 out of 5. It's nothing special but also not the worst.
