Located in a beautiful home setting in the La Sierra area of Riverside, Daniella Crisafulli provides excellent short-term recovery services, or if needed, longer term care. Having observed the care that my father enjoyed at the nurturing hands of Daniella and her husband Michael, I cannot recommend her home care facility highly enough. My father, Steven Hendrickson, fell and broke his hip. After surgery and a brief stay at a medical recovery facility, my father needed a transitional recovery location to heal further before he could consider going home. Luckily, my family found Emanuel Home Care and transferred him to their location. Upon entry to the home, one is struck by how lovely the setting is. The decor is well-chosen for the comfort of the convalescents and their family members. In addition, Daniella is an amazing cook; during his stay, my father enjoyed all of those home-cooked meals. And her home is spotless. The overall effect of the setting, the care, the food, and Daniella’s welcoming personality creates an optimal setting for recovery, one that is closer to family, rather than a sterile medical facility. I will forever be grateful to Emanuel Home Care for the level of care that was given to my father– he felt at home there. Located in a large family home that has been renovated to address senior care needs, Daniella provides excellent 24 hour care for her charges. Whether one wishes a private room, or shared quarters, Daniella can accommodate the needs of those who enter her establishment. Moreover, Emanuel Home Care provides a sliding scale of medical care, depending upon the needs of the individual. My father, who needed to convalesce, received weekly nurse visits after his hip surgery. The fact that Emanuel Home Care is located close to Kaiser Hospital Sierra, was an additional recommendation to the facility. Over time, my father recovered from his hip injury, but needed additional assistance care due to his health and mental decline. Over the course of five plus years, Daniella cared for my father in a manner that was knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind, providing the necessary nursing support for his care via her rotating staff of nurses– all of whom were known to the patients and their families As we all know, taking care of elderly individuals is no easy task, particularly if there might be dementia. Daniella, her husband, and her staff treated my father with respect, maintaining his dignity, throughout each stage. Through it all, she and her husband treated my father like family. And she welcomed myself, my children, and family friends as if we were family, too. When my father passed, Daniella visited him in the hospital to say goodbye, again showing the compassionate heart that helped my father for so many years. To have such care– reasonably priced– matched with such compassion was a dream. I am grateful for my family’s experience with Emanuel Home Care.
