First thing is how clean the facility is compared to others stuck out in my mind, friendly staff along with the many activities that the residents are able to participate in. Many new updated rooms I had noticed, also very close to shopping with many restaurants in the area are within walking distance. I would highly recommend this facility. We’re searching for a place for my mother in the Grand Rapids area. She is currently in a rehab facility and needs too much assistance to return to independent living. We live 3 hours from GR and were on a mission to secure a comfortable spot for her in an assisted living facility. We were very happy with our tour through Care Cardinal Cascade. The Director, DaleTron Thompson gave us a thorough tour and made us very comfortable should my mother selects this facility. It was clean, friendly and with a lot of amenities included in the cost.

I can’t say enough great things about Care Cardinal Cascade! DaleTron Thompson the executive director has gone above and beyond to make what would normally be a stressful time for my mom and I into something we are excited about!!! DaleTron is amazing!!! It’s clear that she loves her job and her residents and they love her! She has created such a happy environment and she is so involved with everyone that lives there! We are so blessed to have such an amazing place for my mom to live! I know my mom will be happy and safe and treated like family! ❤️❤️❤️

I am at peace leaving mom in the capable, caring hands of the staff at Care Cardinal Cascade. Staff members have gone the extra mile to love, lift and chat with Dad before he went to meet Jesus. Mom speaks highly of the delicious food and kitchen staff:) The friendly staff members have listened, encouraged, and helped to meet mom’s needs. Mom enjoys the community activities and interactions provided. I am very thankful for Care Cardinal Cascade and would definitely recommend them to others.

My husband having young onset Alzheimer's has lived here for almost 2 years and only recently moved because he needed to move into memory care which thus Care Cardinal doesn't have onsight. I can't begin to describe the love both he and I plus our family has been shown here. The staff is so loving and the place is very inviting. My husband's disease makes him stubborn in getting the care he needs yet every staff member has worked tirelessly to help him and in the process that helped me. I would like to put a shout out to the Director, Daletron who is highly knowledgeable with dementia. She's so loving, friendly and always made time for my questions and concerns. Even on days I know she was so busy, she never made me feel a burden. I'd also like to put a shout out to Starlin, the head nurse who found a way to get my husband to agree to her assistance even though that was challenging for me even. She has been a loving caregiver that I came to trust in every way. The other staff has also been amazing, friendly, worked hard in every way. We stayed within the Care Cardinal community with my husband's need for the next level of care in memory care at Byron Center location which we love already too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Cascade location for assisted living! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you Care Cardinal Cascade! We will miss you all.
