My grandmother has dementia and is supposed to be checked every two hours but was last checked around 8: 30 pm and wasn’t again until 1:30 am and got out and wasn’t found until 9am. Her room is always dirty unless we clean and laundry is never done when asked. In the evening I’ve had residents let me in with no staff in sight

Visiting my stepmother here. Very clean no odors and the meals were good. I wishes that there could be more people that she could communicate with as she is very with it.

I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and I tour facilities prior to recommending them to clients. I was very impressed with this facility both times I was there from the staff who genuinely cares for the clients, the joy on the client's faces and the positive interaction I observed between clients and staff. I conducted a music class there for the residents and brought in music, shakers, sticks, and bells and 14 happy residents participated in musical fun! Ivy Garner is the marketing director and it's evident that she truly cares about each person under her care. I highly recommend Emerald Oaks Assisted Living for your loved one.

I wish to leave double negative stars for this facilities less than professional behavior in serving its community; let alone the residents depending on them to do them right. I had called the facility on Friday and again on Monday to inquire on visitation procedure and policy to ensure my 93+ mile drive would be worthwhile in that a visit would actually take place. An appt for two pm on Tuesday the 6th had been agreed to as well as all that was needed by me to make a successful visit. Upon arrival on premise I called to affirm that they were ready to be met with and that’s when they played dumb didn’t know about an appt or whom I was and then didn’t know to what Covid 19 standard they were. At this point I reminded them it was for preferably an outdoor visit to which they said she wasn’t well enough for and I replied oh so you’ll be accommodating an indoor visit and they then told me she did not want a visitor. The following day I left a folder enclosing the welfare and institutions codes specifically regarding visitation and isolation with a note letting them know I’d be in yuba city for an additional two days in case they changed their mind which they did not. This is now two times they have obstructed the residents visits. At this point I am puzzled as to what to think…. Can’t receive calls from the resident nor have the pre stamped envelopes or stationary been used - so idk if she has even gotten my correspondence!!!! How would you rate a place who won’t keep open communication or allow anyone to see the residence???? Think I’ll have to question more authorities and definitely probe into the many standards to which they operate

Excellent place for your loved ones. Rita and Preet are the best. The staff is great. I highly urge anyone in need to go to them.
