Emerson House At River Pointe

We recently visited a family friend at Emerson River Pointe, we have visited many times prior, this was definitely a different vibe. We were able to meet some new staff, Mindy was amazing. Best afternoon visit we have had. Emerson, please keep hiring quality. Looking forward to visiting again. I definitely recommend.

This place is very depressing. We have a very good friend who is living here and we have found when we visit, which is often, the menu posted for the week is not what is being served. Delicious, nutritious food is replaced with low quality less expensive choices. At one visit we noticed that they did not have enough silverware to go around. My friends clothing and other personal items seem to disappear. We have found the staff to be very friendly and seem to care. If there comes a time in your life that assisted living becomes a nessisity, please do your homework on these places and if you can try to keep family with family.

I really don’t know where to begin. My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. I had been looking for somewhere that would provide her with good quality care and allow her to be as independent as possible. I was blessed to come in contact with Tina. The facility executive director. She went above and beyond to help me with the entire process with my mother. Her entire staff is amazing. Including her office manager Traci. I actually live out of state and they even send me pictures of my mom engaging in activities. They create a plan to fit the individuals lifestyle. Which is pretty amazing! I’m also very impressed with the cleanliness and modern look of this facility. Emerson has provided me with such a relief. Knowing my mother is receiving the highest quality of care. Especially as this is one of the most difficult things a grown child will ever experience with their aging parent. My heart is relieved knowing my moms in the very best place she could be in. Thank you Tina & entire staff at Emerson.

Dad lived at Emerson House for seven months. The staff provided loving and attentive care for each resident. Rarely did we find Dad in his room when we visited - he was in the activity room. We really appreciated the numerous activities provided for the residents. They could come and go from activities as they chose, if they didn't like one. Even if Dad didn't like one, he usually stayed for the snack. Emerson House is clean and comfortable. Once a month the executive director facilitated an Alzheimer's support group for loved ones of those with Alzheimer's or dementia. My husband and I found those very helpful.

I'm an Elder Law attorney and in my business I have the opportunity to visit many assisted living and memory care communities and have done so for the last seven or eight years. I've gotten to know administrators and directors in dozens of these communities. Here in Boise, we are fortunate to have many high quality communities. But, it is interesting to note and of supreme importance to know that almost every administrator or director knows Eric, the director of Emerson House, and speaks highly of him personally and of the job he has done at Emerson House. Moreover, I have had clients over the years and at the present with loved ones at Emerson House. Again, they speak so very highly of the quality of life the great effort of the team at Emerson House. It is a pleasure to recommend Emerson House team to my clients and anyone who asks. They are well trained and well disciplined.
