If your loved one is in hospice care, I do not recommend this facility. The owner was not willing to cooperate or comply with hospice. Medication administration was not well documented.

My father-in-law lived in our home with us for almost 3 years, but then developed some major medical complications which rendered him bedridden. He was given a terminal diagnosis. His needs were great and required 24/7 care. We tried a big named rehabilitation facility, but it was clear he was still declining. We had to find somewhere that would care for him, and we had never really considered a group home, like Emmanuel, until this point. I don’t even think I could convey how well he was taken care of at Emmanuel. Their knowledge and experience on how to care for him gave us a sense of peace. The place is spotless, the home cooked food is delicious (and given in abundance!) and the people truly care. Sam, the owner was always so kind and gentle, and treated my father-in-law with love and respect. The night he passed away, Sam came in to the room with us at one point, and held his hand and just rubbed it. Mihaela, one of the caregivers, truly grieved with us when he went home to be with the Lord. She had cared for him like he was her own father. We are so thankful for this place and the loving people there. Five stars is not enough. Jennifer & Tony
