My mother in-law has 3 people left in this world. Her last days could be very lonely for her, but the staff at Lorien really step up and do so on a daily basis. Three people that especially stick out in my mind are the CNA’s on day shift, Alex, George, and Rani. They treat her as if she were their family member. They shower her with so much special attention and love. She feels like a queen when they interact with her. They make it a point to stop any interaction with her whenever they see her. She told me they are such great people and they are always there for her. She never feels like she is alone when they are around, they feel like they are her family. You can’t ask for anymore than that for your loved one. It’s nice for me to know that when I’m not here to be with her, these are the people that are taking care of her.

The staff here are most considerate, patient, and friendly, especially Deante Adams in the rehab section; he is the most positive and cheerful nurse I have ever met. The food was varied and tasty. I would definitely recommend the rehab based on our experience. After 3 prior days in the hospital, bill was covered by Medicare.

My grandmother especially looks forward to the activities. They’ve helped her stay social, active, and connected. Over the past five years, we’ve seen firsthand the consistency and dedication of the entire staff. They communicate well with our family, address concerns quickly, and truly care about each resident’s well-being. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone searching for a place for their loved ones.

No one ever wants to find out they need rehab after a hospital stay, but Lorien Encore has created a climate that exemplifies respect and dignity for every patient on the floor. My mother has been here for six weeks, and our family could not be more grateful for the "home away from home" they provided. The daily care my mother received was nothing short of exceptional. We want to specifically recognize Kendall and Mela, who handled her daily needs with a level of kindness and compassion that went above and beyond. They approached every task with a smile, ensuring she felt safe and cared for while preserving her dignity at all times. Her nurses, Toni and Deante, were equally impressive. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they addressed every request with a sense of urgency and a "not a bother" attitude that made my mother feel completely at ease. On the rehabilitation side, the therapists Stephanie and Jillian were amazing. They knew exactly when to push her and when to adjust her activities based on her ever-changing medical needs. It was clear they were monitoring her progress with genuine interest. Communication was also a major strength. Judy, the social worker, was fantastic at coordinating care meetings and was always available to answer questions as we navigated the next steps for her discharge. What struck my mother most was how everyone seemed to know her personally. We are so thankful to the ENTIRE team for their professionalism and heart. We couldn’t be happier with the care my dad receives at Lorien. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely caring—they always take the time to make residents feel comfortable and valued. It truly feels like a welcoming community rather than just a facility. The activities team is wonderful and does such a great job keeping everyone engaged and entertained. There’s always something fun going on, and it’s clear how much thought and effort they put into planning activities the residents enjoy. My dad especially loves Bingo—it’s his favorite, and he always looks forward to it! Knowing my dad is happy, active, and well cared for gives our family such peace of mind. We are very grateful for the exceptional care and highly recommend this assisted living community to others.
