My husband who has advanced Alzheimer’s has been in English Meadows for two months now . I was always skeptical about assisted living and nursing homes because of some of the reviews that I have read . I can honestly say that our experience here has been nothing but wonderful . The caregivers know everyone by name and everyone is treated like family . They are patient , kind people doing their very best to make the residents comfortable . The management team is always available to answer any questions or concerns . I am so happy to have found a place for my husband where I feel he gets excellent care . Thank you English Meadows!

My Mom She 85 Years Old been having problems living on Her own, in July 2, 2025 I decide moved my Mom to English Meadow Manassas Campus had been over one month now. Everyone working in the English Meadow Manassas very friendly and very nice, taking very good care of Her, sometimes My Mom personality got mean sometimes but everyone very patient with Her. They also allow me have a camera in Her room so I can see Her on my cellphone. I don’t see anything wrong about this place I am very happy for my Mom. Now I am very peaceful knowing My Mom She had nice place to lived She had Her own room just liked a studio had a large refrigerator and the cabinets over the sink and have Her own bathroom don’t have to share with anyone the price wasn’t that high. If anyone decide to move love one to assistant living. I recommended English Meadow Manassas is the best.

HORRIBLE. NEGLIGENT. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Our loved one was in memory care here for 10 days and it was 10 days too long. She is 90 years old and has advanced Alzheimer's so we installed a camera in her room so we could keep an eye on her. It was in plain sight and there was even a warning on her door that there was a camera inside. This did not stop the staff from neglecting her, speaking rudely to her and even manhandling her. She would go 8+ hours without anyone changing her, even after repeated requests. Her Depends were soaked through her clothes on several occasions. Her bed was also soaked with urine and they didn't even change the sheets. They just put a pad over top of the wet spots. Hours would pass before anyone would check on her. If they did check, they popped their head in and asked if she needed anything. Someone with advanced Alzheimer's is not capable of telling anyone what they need. Her meals were just dropped off in her room without anyone helping her. She was given fried chicken with bones, shrimp with tails on and cookies wrapped tightly in cellophane - while alone in her room. It was absurd. We went to Jessica, the nurse in charge of memory care, and Jay, the executive director, multiple times with our concerns. They said all the right things but did NOTHING. Kelsie, the director of nursing, was basically non-existent and it was obvious she didn't care how the residents were being treated. If our loved one was being treated this poorly with a camera in plain sight, how do you suppose they are treating residents without a camera? These are residents who cannot speak for themselves. It was obvious that no one who works here has any actual training in memory care. Our hearts still ache when we think about how poorly our loved one was treated at this facility. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

After 18 month of searching for a suitable assisted living care home, we discovered English Meadows, Manassas. Our loved one has been there over two weeks, and despite a couple days of a rocky transition, the managers and staff were incredibly supportive, and did everything possible to alleviate the anxiety, and to make our loved one feel safe, and cared for. We noticed that the staff, and management were engaged with the residents and knew them by name, and the residents seemed content and comfortable. Any concerns that we have had were immediately addressed and the lines of communication and updates on our loved one is, and continues to be appropriate. The staff are happy, upbeat, friendly, enthusiastic and morale seems high. Our loved one was previously attended by home visiting nurses and therapists before he became a resident, and they have since visited him and personally met with the nurses and therapists there, and were relieved to report that they had no doubt that he was in the hands of people that genuinely care, and are attentive to his needs. We have trust that this level of loving care will remain consistent, and it's a blessing to the residents. For this, we are thankful. We have already recommended English Meadows to others.

All English Meadows staff are sincerely interested and supportive of my wife's care. Communications are excellent between the staff and family. Any issues are resolved to the mutual satisfaction of family and providers. Housekeeping services are prompt. Laundry services always maintain clean clothes and linens. Choosing a memory care facility is one of the hardest things any of us will need to do. Management made the admission process easy. I'm extremely pleased and satisfied with the care at English Meadows for my wife. I would recommend to a friend!
