My mother in law passed away recently from dementia. She was 90 years old. The care she received from all the caregivers in the memory care unit was exceptional!! As her family, we are extremely grateful for the love given to her throughout this health journey. Joanne and Bob moved into a single family home initially. When it was evident that an apartment would be more suitable, they moved to a lovely 3 bedroom apartment and delighted in the comraderie with their neighbors on the floor! When Bob began to suffer from dementia he moved to the memory care unit and Joanne was able to visit with him daily. What a blessing! Joanne continued to live in her apartment, enjoying playing Rummikub and going to exercise class! Eventually she needed to move to memory care and had a lovely bedroom and enjoyed all the activities provided f For the residents. She especially enjoyed the live music when the electric guitar was played. She would get up to dance and brought huge smiles to all the residents and staff. When she began to decline, we were impressed with the loving care given to her. We so appreciate all the staff at FahrneyKeedy and highly recommend it to everyone!

So, first the Physical therapy team have been excellent in working with me to make sure I can join to encourage my moms recovery- that is not easy as they can’t be sure of availability because of other patients and issues happening left and right . Then after making sure I can join, I saw that they have a wonderful way with my mom who is 89. After that the dietician spent a very long time explaining things to me about her eating and why certain issues happen- she explained everything in an easy to understand way and spent time answering all my questions. She gave me home tips also. Finally tonight as we (her many kids) are worried because we don’t know whether her phone got charged, I called and the front desk person offered to go check on it herself . They have just been really amazing. Also it has been super nice to go in and see mom sitting up all dressed looking great ready for the day.

My family highly recommends rehabilitation at this extraordinary facility! Mom is 89 and recovering from a triple ankle fracture and anesthesia related dementia. We have been repeatedly impressed at the level of care and responsiveness to our concerns. I get calls from every department, from food to PT to nursing and more! Yesterday she took her first five steps and today they're taking her to her heart doctor with a previsit call to update the cardiologist on her status. My requests have been addressed promptly. This is clean, kind, and compassionate place if your parent has to go in for specialized care. We highly recommend!

Fahney- Keedy is the best to be! The staff took very good care of my mother. I was very pleased with her care. Staff members are so very nice. Thanks to everyone!

As a patient I called in wanting to be happy here. But when you can for a nurse to help you and you have to wait over an hour it hard to be happy. They boast of delicious homer cooked meals and I've yet to see or taste them. I would advise you keep looking for a place to suit your needs. Getting well you need support add they are not giving it.
