FAIRBANKS COURT ASSISTED LIVING

The women that work there take wonderful care of all the patients. They were so patient with my mother, who could be difficult. My only concern was the owner showed up at my mom’s memorial and completely disregarded me when he spoke to our friends and our family. He didn’t even come by and personally say anything to me in my grief over losing my mom. Also when he spoke to the group he referred to patients as “walkie talkies”, which I found unprofessional and not very compassionate. My mom loved the food! It always smelled so good when they were cooking! The facility is also very clean.

I put my dad in this home 5 years ago after visiting several other 'facilities' in the area. It truly is a small home environment and stood out from the rest. If you go visit and meet David, the owner/operator, you will see why it was an easy choice. Highly recommend!

When the last hurricane came the management did even come to start the generator. One of the clients family members came to assist. Also the oven was out for Thanksgiving and dinner for clients and family members was cooked at one of the staffs house. So no way to ensure sanitation and food safety. This place has a lot of issues. Food menu can't be cooked due to the food required is not available. Lots of other things that need to be addressed

This is definitely among the best assisted living facilities I've ever seen. I've visited a number of times to volunteer with my children. I love that my kids are learning what skilled and compassionate care of our elders should truly look like, and in an environment that feels much more like a home than a "facility." The owners' integrity and genuine concern for their residents is evident in all they do - I cannot commend them or Fairbanks Court highly enough!

We moved my mother here from another assisted living home. She is smiling every time we com to see her now. The staff is very helpful and pleasent.
