Agency CNAs aren’t treated nicely at this facility so if you are one STAY AWAY. when ever I spoke up for myself it was “you agency this ..you agency that” I actually do have a name you know? 2 CNA’s on the floor doesn’t work and won’t ever work with the workload I was given. Most residents are total care mix in a few rehab and you have a disaster when you’re working with multiple total care residents and can can’t get to a rehab patient in time for toileting because in fairhaven call bells must be answered in 1 minute…..I was actually cursed out ( by resident) because of that exactly reason and cried. The nurses there don’t answer call bells but will walkie you to get a light when they could literally be standing INSIDE THE ROOM!!! As a CNA at fairhaven you’re a CNA and a Waiter! Because the dining staff in the day shift only don’t take orders. I believe things would go smoothly in the mornings if they could. CNAs are struggling to get residents to the dining room every morning because oh everyone must be up between 7:30-9:30AM (showers included) see how ridiculous that is? and on top of finally getting them into a dining room we must take orders. Smh let’s get into the equipment. Why do I have to go through 6 batteries to get my job done? Let’s get into the regular staff who are rude and nasty towards any agency staff when we’re there to help? When we’re working full time & doubles and can’t even call out sick because no one can cover us? Rude to ..us? Oh. I cut my contract early and met NEW travelers on the way out who aren’t there anymore as I type this now..I’m not surprised. Fairhaven DO BETTER if you WANT HELP. Train your staff and please please do a diversity training I’m from New York and never heard the term “colored” in my life. I should of NOT heard that coming out of any staffs mouth in the year 2022. I shouldn’t be followed or questioned what I’m doing there walking through the facility either. pros: Food was AMAZING and always offered as a traveler I really appreciated it. The facility itself is VERY clean, organized and very beautiful in the day residents become family and it hurt to leave so abruptly. Front desk clerk deserves a raise! Always friendly to me and held my many packages. I wanted to like it here but the bad outweighs the good as “agency staff”.

Local nursing homes who doesn't have your parents best interests in mind. I was told by administration staff "it's all about your Mother" DON'T be deceived, it's all about the money. Once Fairhaven takes all your parent's money; administer Lynn will do all he can to kick your parents out. Ruthless, evasive, manipulating. VERY disappointed in his actions. Overall the staff is great. If you have a problem with Fairhaven I can help, know your right's.

Fairhaven is a fabulous place for seniors. I don't think the care of clients could be better anywhere. The staff are friendly, caring and compassionate! They live the golden rule and they live the faith that Fairhaven was created with. So very grateful and feel so fortunate that my parents are at Fairhaven! Their lives have been enhanced and enriched because of the love, care and support they have received. What a blessing!!!!!
