FAIRWAY VISTA

My father is a current resident of Fairway Assisted Living. He has been a resident there for a while now, and I am SO grateful to the wonderful, kind people that care for my father on a daily basis. They have gotten to know him well and reach immediately out to us if there are any changes or concerns. The best part is that HE loves them. They put a smile on his face and make him feel secure. He loves sitting on the porch and watching golfers play. He enjoys all the kind volunteers that come in to play music, games, etc. Dementia can be a scary road to navigate, and Fairway has helped us so much along the way.

While my mother was a resident at Fairway Vista, I observed the routine hiring of untrained and unskilled staff members. My mother was a total care resident and unable to do anything for herself. On my personal room cameras I observed Mom being left uncared for. Because of the neglect I was forced to spend hours in the facility feeding my mother myself. When I informed the manager and owner of my concerns, I was given the regular excuse that their caregivers were busy with other residents. Mom died on the 9 th day of the new month, I paid mom’s rent in full knowing that mom might pass at any moment.I also knew Moms room had already been rented to a new resident before she passed. After moms death, I asked for a partial refund for the unused days … knowing they had already rented the room to someone else. The owner refused stating that she could not lose money on that bed for that month.The owner was very unkind and stopped answering my text and calls after I informed her that I was aware she was receiving a double payment for the bed and making a profit from my mothers death. I asked her to make a donation towards Moms funeral arrangements with some of the money I paid her, she would not respond. I would never recommend this facility to anyone I care about. If you choose this place, I highly recommend you install camera and visit Unannounced on a regular basis.

I can’t tell you how grateful we are to have found Fairway Vista for our loved one. We moved our loved one from a large corporate memory care facility to this lovely home on the golf course. It is like night and day. Everything has improved with my loved one’s quality of care. They keep the environment clean and cozy. Medication is actually administered properly and regularly and hygiene care is finally happening consistently (it was not happening at all at the previous facility). I know there will be more hard days ahead with dementia and things will not always be perfect but I believe my loved one has a shot at living the best she can in this home environment. The management and the caregivers are angels. 💜

Fairway Vista has simply been a god-send. My mother moved here from another memory care facility shortly after my father passed away. She had been declining and her hospice provider recommended moving her to Fairway Vista out of concern of the care (or lack of) she was receiving at the previous facility. I was really concerned about moving her somewhere unfamiliar so soon after losing her husband, but Fairway has proved to be a positive experience for my mom in every way. She is eating better, she says her favorite part of Fairway is the food. She’s cleaner. Her constant rashes and breathing issues she suffered from previously are all but gone. She interacts with and enjoys the wonderful staff. She’s at peace and happy, more engaging, and if it’s possible, her memory even seems to have improved even though she has Alzheimer’s. The director, Amber, is a joy to work with and is so personable. She has been BEYOND accommodating to family visiting from out of town. The caregiver, Paul, is my mom’s fave and doubles as a master chef. The owner’s story about the roots of Fairway is inspiring. I highly recommend Fairway Vista with no reservations whatsoever.

My grandmother lives here and the attention to detail the staff has with her is amazing. She moved here from a large assisted living company in Dallas and has settled in nicely. We were warned there would be an adjustment period, and there was, but she was cared for in such a tender way while she got used to the new place…which is now her home. Fairway’s staff is incredible to say the least. Her memory has declined over the years and knowing that she is in such good hands, makes the family feel at ease. Thankful we live close by and can pop in anytime to visit and be part of the constant warm welcome of Fairway.
